A close happenstance with young Ali Alnakhli
ARASCO was a dream… But we achieved it
My heads and colleagues in the company
were my best help
He joined ARASCO after four and a half
years at the Samba Financial Group, his
joining the company was a further phase
of his unlimited ambition. Our guest says
that ARASCO represent the future he
wants, as well as he feels proud to be one
of the company , s employees. Ana ARASCO
conducted this dialogue with the young Ali
Alnakhali working as Activation Officer in
Sales & Marketing Department of ARASCO
Foods. According to the aspects of his
personal and professional life, the dialogue
went as follows:
Ana ARASCO: What is Ali Alnakhali , s ID?
Alnakhali: I am Ali Abdullah Yousef Alnakhali,
born in Madinah, on 14th of September
1985, married and I have two daughters
(Juri and Yasmin).
Ana ARASCO: Where were your educational
stages?
Alnakhali: After my father moved to
work in Dammam area, I got my primary,
middle and secondary education in this
wonderful city and then I got admission in
King Saud University, Riyadh. I started to
study Turkish language at the Faculty of
Languages and Translation. After a year and
half, I changed my direction to study at the
Institute of Public Administration, in which
I gained the Diploma in in English and the
Diploma in Banking Management with very
good estimation. Currently, I am studying at
the 7th level at King Faisal University for a
Bachelor , s degree and I aspire to more.
Ana ARASCO: When and how did you find
your way to ARASCO?
Alnakhali: I joined ARASCO in 2012 after
working for 4 and half years at Samba
Financial Services. I was nominated to join
ARASCO through the delightful professor
and dear colleague, Mr. Sahl the Assistant
Purchasing Manager, and I was interviewed
by the CFO Mr. Sulaiman Alquhidan who was
additionally working as Acting President,
ARASCO Foods at that time.
Ana ARASCO: How were you treated by
your seniors and colleagues during the first
period of your employment?
Alnakhali: All Praises be to Allah – I was
treated like a family member and highly
encouraged to work successfully on my
initial work assignments as a team member
by my seniors and colleagues. I did not
forget at this stage the Direct Managers at
the work, Professor Sahl, who did not spare
us guidance, advice and encourage selfdevelopment.
Ana ARASCO: What is the nature of work,
you do in the ARASCO Foods Unit?
Alnakhali: When I joined ARASCO, I worked
in the Food Procurement Department.
After nearly two and half years, I was
transferred to work in the Marketing and
Sales Department as marketing activities
officer. I was given the opportunity to work
on promotional offers, activate the brand of
‘Entaj’ in the markets of Riyadh, Dammam
and Al Khobar, follow up competitors in
these areas and respond to queries through
social media, as well as supervision of other
activities of ARASCO Foods, including
tenth anniversary of the launch of the
chicken brand ‘Entaj’. It also includes sales
supervision, refrigerators, point of sale,
customer follow-up and visits to their
premises in Riyadh, Al Kharj, Rumah and
Mazahmiyah.
Ana ARASCO: Have you received any
training course(s) inside or outside the
Kingdom during your work in ARASCO?
Alnakhali: It is well known that ARASCO , s
general strategy includes direct attention to
young people and keenness to develop their
abilities and support their initiatives. This
approach has enabled me, like other youth,
to obtain a number of internal and external
training courses, including a special course
on Advanced Techniques of Purchasing
and Contracts at the British Center in
Dubai, Business Writing Skills, Effective
Communication Skills, Stress Management
and many more.
Ana ARASCO: Have you encountered any
difficulties or obstacles since you joined the
company until now?
Alnakhali: I can say with all sincerity that
throughout my work in ARASCO, I have not
met any difficulty. The working environment
of the company makes every member of
ARASCO family to work very smoothly
and to develop himself in his field because
everyone is keen to overcome obstacles and
overcome difficulties in accordance with
stipulated planning.
Ana ARASCO: What is your opinion about
the social relationship and communication
among the company›s employees?
Alnakhali: Indeed, the most charming
characteristic of ARASCO is the social and
family relations among workers, employees
and management. This situation is positively
reflected by the level of performance in all
Business Units.
My ambitions have
no limits
Ana ARASCO: What is your relationship with
sports, literature and arts?
Alnakhali: I am not a regular sports
practitioner but I am an excellent follower
and lover of Al-Helal football team. I am also
interested in reading novels and stories and
I have a special relationship with the old
melody and tunes, especially the music of
the eighties and nineties.
Ana ARASCO: What is your opinion about
social media?
Alnakhali: I call it the social separation
because it has greatly affected the beautiful
family relations that were in the past, where
these media and sites become a substitute
for direct meetings and visits, and filled the
friendship gaps of each other and became a
place to boast and the dissemination of news
often frustrating.
Ana ARASCO: How does Ali Alnakhli look
to the future on a personal and professional
level?
Alnakhali: I am always optimistic. Tomorrow
represents me everything that is new and
wonderful. Like many others, my personal
and professional ambitions have no limits and
I am currently seeking to obtain the highest
degrees in science, so that I can carry out
the tasks of the process in accordance with a
deliberate vision through which I can provide
what is new and useful to myself and to this
company - God willing.
