Reproducerbarheden hos BD ProbeTec ET LP analysen blev vurderet ved tre laboratorier ved at teste et panel
bestående af 24 prøver, der blev spiket i PBS/BSA Panelet omfattede 12 prøver, der var negative for L pneumophila;
tre lave (300 CFU/reaktion) og tre høje (500 CFU/reaktion) positive prøver af L pneumophila; og tre lave (hhv 30
elementærlegemer (Elementary Bodies, EB)/reaktion, 300 CFU/reaktion, 900 celler/reaktion) og tre høje (hhv 50
EB/reaktion, 500 CFU/reaktion, 1500 celler/reaktion) positive prøver hver indeholdende Chlamydophila pneumoniae
(CP), L pneumophila (LP), og Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) En operatør pr sted testede panelerne en gang om
dagen i tre dage Resultaterne er sammenfattet i Tabel 6
