I am sitting on a dog sled in minus 32<br />
degrees on the way from Qaanaaq to<br />
Siorapaluk, a day’s journey of almost<br />
70 kilometres, when Sampedro’s words<br />
come into my mind.<br />

the boundless arctic landscape, w<strong>her</strong>e<br />
t<strong>her</strong>e are no man-made constructions<br />
to distract the eye or the mind.<br />
