BATTERY WITH CHARGE TRANSFORMER<br />
The main source of power are the batteries. The batteries<br />
can be charged in circuit by using a charging transformer<br />
or solar panels.<br />
BATTERY WITH RUN TRANSFORMER<br />
The main source of power is the transformer.<br />
The batteries may or may not be used. Batteries<br />
if installed function as back-up to open the gate<br />
in case of a power outage.<br />
Transformer must be removed from the backsi<strong>de</strong><br />
of the control board if batteries are installed.<br />
POWER IN<br />
The 24Vac input can accept a charging transformer or the run<br />
transformer. I<strong>de</strong>ally the charge transformer is installed at the<br />
house and a low voltage line is used to the control board at the<br />
gate.<br />
The run transformer is installed in the control box.<br />
SOLAR PANELS<br />
Optional solar panels may be used to charge the batteries. Solar<br />
Panels must be a minimum of 27.4V, 9W output.
