Biographie<br />
Born 1968 in Vienna. studies (composition, pedagogy) at the music academy Vienna with F.BURT and<br />
M.JARRELL. Studies of mathematics at the University Vienna. 1992/93: studies at IRCAM, Paris with<br />
M.STROPPA and B.FERNEYHOUGH, development of a software-environement („KLANGPILOT“) for<br />
so<strong>und</strong> synthesis. 1994: co-fo<strong>und</strong>er/board member of the NewTonEnsemble (www.newtonensmble.<br />
info) and iKultur (www.ikultur.com). 1994-2003: teacher for computer music at the international<br />
Bartok Seminar in Szombathely (H). 1996-2001: teacher for music theory and composition at the<br />
conservatory of Vienna. since 1997: teacher for for computer music at the academy in Vienna, since<br />
2001 also music theory, since 2004 assistant for composition in the class of Michael Jarrell. nume-<br />
rous performances in Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Turkey, Argentinia and<br />
South Korea. commissions of works from Konzerthaus Wien, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble On Line,<br />
Ensemble exxj, Lemgoer Orgeltage, Haller Bachtage, Triton Trombone Quartett, Wiener Kammerchor<br />
prizes: STIFTUNG CHRISTOPH DELZ (CH, 2002), Körner prize Austria 2004, composition prize of the<br />
