Commissioning<br />
Prior to first use<br />
Heat up the appliance before using for the first time to remove<br />
any residues from the assembly process (greases). Proceed as<br />
follows:<br />
Wipe the appliance with a moist cloth.<br />
Turn the control knob in anti-clockwise direction as far as it<br />
will go (OFF).<br />
Connect up the appliance by inserting the heating appliance<br />
plug into the jack on the appliance and the mains plug into a<br />
plug socket.<br />
Turn the control knob to level 5 and wait until the green indicator<br />
light goes out.<br />
Turn the control knob to the 2nd red mark (maximum level).<br />
NOTE<br />
► Slight smoke development is completely normal. Ensure sufficient<br />
ventilation.<br />
After 2 minutes, switch off the appliance by turning the control<br />
knob in anti-clockwise direction as far as it will go and pull the<br />
mains plug out of the plug socket.<br />
Allow the appliance to cool down for around 15 minutes.<br />
Wipe the appliance with a moist cloth.<br />
The appliance is now ready for use.<br />
