mit dem Kauf des Pita King haben Sie sich für ein Qualitätsprodukt 

von BEEM entschieden. Das Pita- und Crêpe-Backgerät 

ist 3-fach antihaft versiegelt und eignet sich hervorragend zum 

Backen von Pita-/Fladenbrot, Crêpe und Pfannkuchen oder zum 

fettfreien Grillen von Fleisch. 

Lesen Sie die hier enthaltenen Informationen, damit Sie mit Ihrem 

Gerät schnell vertraut werden und seine Funktionen in vollem 

Umfang nutzen können. 

Ihr Gerät dient Ihnen viele Jahre lang, wenn Sie es sachgerecht 

behandeln und pflegen.

Die Bedienungsanleitung muss ständig in der Nähe des Gerätes

die mit der Bedienung, Störungsbehebung und/oder Reinigung 

des Gerätes beauftragt ist. 

Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf und geben Sie

Dieses Gerät ist vorwiegend für den nicht gewerblichen Gebrauch 

in geschlossenen Räumen zum Backen von Pita-/Fladenbrot, 

Pfannkuchen und Crêpe oder fettfreiem Grillen von Fleisch bestimmt. 

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht 

bestimmungsgemäß.

Von dem Gerät können bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung 

und/oder andersartiger Nutzung Gefahren ausgehen.

Sicherheit 

Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen. 

Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann jedoch zu Personen- 

und Sachschäden führen. 

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die 

folgenden grundlegenden Sicherheitshinweise sowie die in den 

einzelnen Kapiteln separat aufgeführten Hinweise: 

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise 

■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere 

sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht 

in Betrieb. 

■ 

Das Gerät während des Betriebes nie unbeaufsichtigt lassen. 

■ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der 

Steckdose, sondern fassen Sie immer den Netzstecker an. 

■ Ziehen Sie den Heißgerätestecker nie an der Zuleitung aus 

der Anschlussbuchse, sondern fassen Sie immer den Heißgerätestecker 

an. 

■ Personen, die aufgrund ihrer körperlichen, geistigen oder 

motorischen Fähigkeiten nicht in der Lage sind, das Gerät 

sicher zu bedienen, dürfen das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht oder 

Anweisung durch eine verantwortliche Person benutzen. 

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachhändlern 

oder vom Werkskundendienst durchführen. Durch 

unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren 

für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch. 

■ Eine Reparatur des Gerätes während der Garantiezeit darf 

nur von einem vom Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst vorgenommen 

werden, sonst besteht bei Schäden und nachfolgenden 

Schäden kein Garantieanspruch mehr. 

■ Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile ausgetauscht 

werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet, dass 

die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllt werden.

Beim Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Leitungen 

oder Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr! 

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um eine Gefährdung

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn die Anschlussleitung, 

der Netzstecker oder der Heißgerätestecker beschädigt 

sind. 

► Öffnen Sie auf keinen Fall das Gehäuse des Gerätes. 

Werden spannungsführende Anschlüsse berührt und der 

elektrische und mechanische Aufbau verändert, besteht 

Stromschlaggefahr. 

► Tauchen Sie das Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung niemals in 

Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

Auspacken 

WARNUNG 

Bei der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes können Personen- und 

Sachschäden auftreten! 

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um die Gefahren 

zu vermeiden: 

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet 

werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr. 

► Beachten Sie die Hinweise zu den Anforderungen an den 

Aufstellort sowie zum elektrischen Anschluss des Gerätes, 

um Personen- und Sachschäden zu vermeiden. 

Entnehmen Sie das Gerät, alle Zubehörteile und die Bedienungsanleitung 

aus dem Karton. 

Entfernen Sie vor dem Erstgebrauch alle Verpackungsmaterialien 

und Schutzfolien vom Gerät und den Zubehörteilen. 

HINWEIS 

► Entfernen Sie nicht das Typenschild und eventuelle 

Warnhinweise.

HINWEIS 



► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare 

Schäden. Melden Sie eine unvollständige oder beschädigte 

Lieferung umgehend Ihrem Lieferanten/Händler. 

Entsorgung der Verpackung 

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die 

Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen 

Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb 

recyclebar. 

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart 

Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie 

nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich 

geltenden Vorschriften. 

HINWEIS 

► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während 

der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall 

ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können. Transportschäden 

führen zum Erlöschen des Garantieanspruchs. 

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort 

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der 

Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen: 

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine trockene, ebene, stabile, hitzebeständige 

und gegen Wasserspritzer geschützte Unterlage. 

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr 

feuchten Umgebung oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material 

auf. 

■ Wählen Sie den Aufstellort so, dass Kinder nicht an die heißen 

Oberflächen des Gerätes gelangen können. 

■ Die verwendete Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, um im 

Notfall das Gerät schnell vom Stromkreis trennen zu können.

Elektrischer Anschluss 

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes sind 

beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise zu beachten: 

■ Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die 

Anschlussdaten (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild 

mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen 

übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten. Im 

Zweifelsfall fragen Sie Ihren Elektrofachhändler. 

■ Der Anschluss des Gerätes an das Elektronetz darf maximal 

über ein 3 Meter langes, abgewickeltes Verlängerungskabel 

mit einem Querschnitt von 1,5 mm² erfolgen. Die Verwendung 

von Mehrfachsteckern oder Steckdosenleisten ist wegen der 

damit verbundenen Brandgefahr verboten. 

■ Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Anschlussleitung unbeschädigt 

ist und nicht über heiße Oberflächen und/oder scharfe 

Kanten verlegt wird. 

■ Die Anschlussleitung darf nicht straff gespannt sein oder 

geknickt werden. 

■ Verlegen Sie die Anschlussleitung so, dass keine Stolpergefahr 

besteht. 

Die 

■ elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes ist nur dann gewährleistet, 

wenn es an ein vorschriftsmäßig installiertes Schutzleitersystem 

angeschlossen wird. Der Betrieb an einer Steckdose 

ohne Schutzleiter ist verboten. Lassen Sie im Zweifelsfall 

die Hausinstallation durch eine Elektro-Fachkraft überprüfen. 

Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Schäden, 

die durch einen fehlenden oder unterbrochenen Schutzleiter 

verursacht werden.

Das Thermostat ermöglicht Ihnen die stufenlose Einstellung der 

Temperatur. 

Zum Einstellen der Temperatur gehen Sie wie folgt vor: 

Drehen Sie den Reglerknopf, bis sich die gewünschte Temperaturstufe 

auf Höhe der Einkerbung am Rand des Oberteils 

befindet. 

Skala Speise 

Stufe 1-2 Warmhalten von Speisen 

Stufe 3 Geflügel, Fisch

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch 

Heizen Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch auf, um evtl. 

Montagerückstände (Fette) zu beseitigen. Gehen Sie dafür wie 

folgt vor: 

Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. 

Drehen Sie den Reglerknopf gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis 

zum Anschlag (AUS). 

Schließen Sie das Gerät an, indem Sie den Heißgerätestecker 

in die Anschlussbuchse am Gerät und den Netzstecker 

in eine Steckdose stecken. 

Stellen Sie den Reglerknopf auf Stufe 5 und warten Sie bis 

die grüne Kontrollleuchte erlischt. 

Stellen Sie den Reglerknopf auf den 2. roten Strich (maximale 

Stufe). 

HINWEIS 

► Eine leichte Rauchentwicklung ist dabei völlig normal. Sorgen 

Sie für ausreichende Belüftung. 

Schalten Sie nach 2 Minuten das Gerät aus, indem Sie den 

Reglerknopf gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag drehen 

und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen. 

Lassen Sie das Gerät etwa 15 Minuten abkühlen. 

Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. 

Das Gerät ist jetzt einsatzbereit. 


Bedienung und Betrieb 



In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung 

des Gerätes. 


WARNUNG 

Verbrennungsgefahr! 

Alle Teile des Gerätes werden während des Betriebes sehr 

heiß! 

► 

Berühren Sie das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht. 

ACHTUNG 

Gerät betreiben 

Beschädigung der Antihaftbeschichtung durch Zerkratzen! 

► Verwenden Sie auf der Backplatte keine kratzenden Bestecke, 

sondern einen Pfannenwender aus Holz. 

Drehen Sie den Reglerknopf gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis 

zum Anschlag (AUS). 

Schließen Sie das Gerät an, indem Sie den Heißgerätestecker 

in die Anschlussbuchse am Gerät und den Netzstecker 

in eine Steckdose stecken. 

Die rote Kontrollleuchte signalisiert die Betriebsbereitschaft des 

Gerätes. 

Stellen Sie den Reglerknopf auf die gewünschte Temperaturstufe; 

siehe Tabelle im Kapitel Bedienelemente. 

Die grüne Kontrollleuchte leuchtet auf und signalisiert, das dass 

Gerät aufheizt. Nach Erreichen der eingestellten Temperatur 

erlischt die grüne Kontrollleuchte automatisch. 

HINWEIS 

► Haben Sie den 2. roten Strich (höchste Temperaturstufe) 

eingestellt, kann es passieren, dass die grüne Kontrollleuchte 

nicht erlischt, weil das Gerät ständig heizt.

Beginnen Sie mit dem Backen. 

HINWEIS 

► Sinkt die Temperatur ab, schaltet sich das Thermostat und 

damit auch die grüne Kontrollleuchte automatisch wieder ein 

und bringt die Temperatur wieder auf die eingestellte Stufe. 

Backen von fladenbrot 

Stellen Sie den Reglerknopf auf Stufe 5. 

Warten Sie bis die grüne Kontrollleuchte erlischt. 

Rollen Sie den Teig maximal auf den Durchmesser der Backplatte 

aus. 

Legen Sie den Teig zum Backen auf die Backplatte. 

Wenden Sie das Brot, um zu sehen, wie weit es schon gebacken 

ist. 

In der Regel muss das Brot etwa 1 Minute pro Seite gebacken 

werden. 


Backen von Crêpe 

Stellen Sie den Reglerknopf auf Stufe 4. 




Gießen Sie den Crêpe-Teig in die Mitte der Backplatte und 

verteilen Sie den Teig gleichmäßig. 

Die Größe des Crêpe richtet sich nach der Teigmenge, die Sie 

verwenden. 

Wenden Sie den Crêpe möglichst schnell. 

In der Regel muss der Crêpe nur einige Sekunden pro Seite 

gebacken werden. 

Grillen von fleisch und Wurst 

Beim Grillen werden unterschiedliche Temperaturen bevorzugt. 

Stellen Sie den Reglerknopf auf die gewünschte Temperaturstufe; 

siehe Tabelle im Kapitel Bedienelemente. 


Legen Sie die zu grillenden Speisen auf die Backplatte. 

HINWEIS 

► Beim Grillen von Fleisch oder Wurst fließt das Fett an den 

Rand in die dafür vorgesehene Mulde. Entfernen Sie das 

Fett nach dem Grillen mit einem weichen saugfähigen Tuch, 

wenn das Gerät abgekühlt ist. 

Gerät ausschalten 

Nach dem Benutzen drehen Sie den Reglerknopf gegen den Uhrzeigersinn 

bis zum Anschlag (AUS) und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker 

aus der Steckdose.

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Reinigung 

und Pflege des Gerätes. 


Reinigung 

WARNUNG 

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, bevor Sie mit 

der Reinigung beginnen: 

► Schalten Sie vor der Reinigung das Gerät aus und entfernen 

Sie die Anschlussleitung. 

► Warten Sie, bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie mit der 

Reinigung beginnen. 

► Tauchen Sie das Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung niemals in 

Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. 

ACHTUNG 

Beschädigung der Antihaft-Beschichtung durch Zerkratzen! 

► Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Backplatte niemals scharfe 

Gegenstände oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel, um die 

Antihaft-Beschichtung nicht zu zerstören. 

■ 

Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch. 

■ Wischen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes mit einem feuchten Tuch 

ab. 

HINWEIS 

► Für die regelmäßige Pflege und auch für die Beseitigung 

hartnäckiger Flecken empfehlen wir Ihnen die INOX-METAL- 

POLISH Politur von Beem. Diese Politur verleiht den Geräten 

ihren ursprünglichen Glanz. Sie ist in Tuben erhältlich

product from BEEM. The Pita and Crêpe Maker has a triple nonstick 

coating and is ideally suited for making pita bread, crêpes 

and pancakes or for fat-free grilling of meat. 

Read the information contained in this booklet to familiarise yourself 

quickly with the appliance and to be able to make full use of 

its functions.

Disposal of the packaging 

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. 

The packaging materials have been selected according to 

environmental and waste disposal aspects and can therefore be 

recycled. 

The return of the packaging to the material cycle helps conserve 

raw materials and reduces the production of waste. When no 

longer required, dispose of the packaging materials in accordance 

with the local regulations in force. 

NOTE 

► Keep the original packaging, if possible, during the warranty 

period in order to be able to pack the appliance properly in 

the event of a warranty claim. Transport damage will void all 

warranty claims. 

Demands on the installation location 

For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the installation 

location has to satisfy the following requirements: 

■ Place the appliance on a dry, level, sturdy heat resistant surface 

where it is protected from splashing water. 

■ Do not install the appliance in a hot, wet or very humid environment 

or in the vicinity of inflammable materials. 

■ Select the installation location in such a way that children cannot 

touch the hot surfaces of the appliance. 

■ The socket to be used has to be easily accessible in order to 

be able to disconnect the appliance from the electric circuit 

fast in case of an emergency.

Electrical connection 

For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the following 

instructions have to be observed for the electrical connection: 

■ Before connecting the appliance, check the connection data 

(voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your 

mains power supply. This data must correspond in order to 

avoid damage to the appliance. If in any doubt, ask your electrical 

appliance dealer. 

■ The appliance may be connected to the mains power supply 

by an unwound extension lead not more than 3 metres long 

and with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The use of multiway 

adapters or multiple socket outlets is forbidden due to the associated 

fire hazard. 

■ Ensure that the connecting lead is undamaged and is not laid 

over hot surfaces or sharp edges. 

■ 

The connecting lead must not be strained or kinked. 

■ Lay the connecting lead in such a way that it does not pose a 

tripping hazard. 

The 

■ electrical safety of the appliance is only assured when 

it is connected to a properly installed protective earth (PE) 

conductor system. Connection to a plug socket without PE 

conductor is forbidden. If in doubt, have the house installation 

checked by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer assumes 

no liability for injury or damage caused by a missing or 

interrupted protective earth conductor.

The thermostat permits a stepless setting of the temperature. 

Proceed as follows to set the temperature: 

Turn the control knob until the desired temperature level is 

aligned with the notch on the edge of the upper part.

Commissioning 

Prior to first use 

Heat up the appliance before using for the first time to remove 

any residues from the assembly process (greases). Proceed as 

follows: 

Wipe the appliance with a moist cloth. 

Turn the control knob in anti-clockwise direction as far as it 

will go (OFF). 

Connect up the appliance by inserting the heating appliance 

plug into the jack on the appliance and the mains plug into a 

plug socket. 

Turn the control knob to level 5 and wait until the green indicator 

light goes out. 

Turn the control knob to the 2nd red mark (maximum level). 

NOTE 

► Slight smoke development is completely normal. Ensure sufficient 

ventilation. 

After 2 minutes, switch off the appliance by turning the control 

knob in anti-clockwise direction as far as it will go and pull the 

mains plug out of the plug socket. 

Allow the appliance to cool down for around 15 minutes. 

Wipe the appliance with a moist cloth. 

The appliance is now ready for use.

Using the appliance 

Turn the control knob in anti-clockwise direction as far as it 

will go (OFF). 

Connect up the appliance by inserting the heating appliance 

plug into the jack on the appliance and the mains plug into a 

plug socket. 

The red indicator light signals that the appliance is ready for use. 

Turn the control knob to the desired temperature level; see 

table in chapter Operating elements. 

The green indicator light comes on and signals that the appliance 

is heating up. When the set temperature is reached, the green 

indicator light goes out automatically.

Starting baking. 

NOTE 

► If the temperature drops, the thermostat and hence also the 

green indicator light switches on again automatically and 

brings the temperature up to the set level again. 

Making pita bread 

Turn the control knob to level 5. 

Wait until the green indicator light goes out. 

Roll out the dough to not more than the diameter of the baking 

plate. 

Place the dough onto the baking plate to bake. 

Turn over the bread to see how well done it already is. 

As a rule the bread needs to be baked for roughly 1 minute on 

each side. 


Making crêpes 

Turn the control knob to level 4. 




Pour the crêpe mixture into the middle of the baking plate and 

spread it uniformly over the plate. 

The size of the crêpe depends on the amount of mixture you use. 

Turn over the crêpe as quickly as possible. 

As a rule the crêpe only needs to be baked for a few seconds on 

each side. 

Grilling of meat and sausages 

Different temperatures are preferred for grilling. 

Turn the control knob to the desired temperature level; see 

table in chapter Operating elements. 


Place the food to be grilled onto the baking plate. 

NOTE 

► During grilling of meat or sausage, the fat runs into the recess 

provided around the edge of the baking plate. Remove 

the fat after grilling using a soft absorbent cloth after the 

appliance has cooled down. 

Switch off appliance 

After use, turn the control knob in anti-clockwise direction as far 

as it will go (OFF) and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.

Cleaning 

WARNING 

Observe the following safety precautions before starting to 

clean the appliance: 

► Swith off the appliance and remove the connecting lead 

before cleaning. 

► Wait until the appliance has cooled down before you start to 

clean it. 

► Never immerse the appliance or the connecting lead in water 

or other liquids. 

CAUTION 

Damage to the non-stick coating by scratching! 

► Never use sharp objects or abrasive cleaning agents to 

clean the baking plate in order to avoid damaging the nonstick 

coating.

Wipe down all parts of the appliance with a damp cloth. 

NOTE 

► For regular care and also for removal of stubborn stains, we 

recommend the use of INOX METAL POLISH from Beem. 

This polish returns the original gloss to your appliances. It is

Elektrik Bağlantısı 

Cihazın güvenli ve hatasız çalıştırılması için elektrik bağlantısı ile 

ilgili aşağıda belirtilen bilgileri dikkate alınız. 

■ Cihazı elektriğe takmadan önce tip plakası üzerindeki hat 

bağlantı parametreleri (gerilim ve frekans) ile şebekenizin 

parametrelerini birbiriyle karşılaştırınız. Cihazın hasar görmemesi

Kararsızlık durumunda elektrik malzemeleri satan tedarikçiye 

danışınız. 

■ Cihazı güç beslemesine bağlarken en fazla 3 metre uzunluğunda, 

kesiti 1,5 mm² olan, sargısı açılmış bir uzatma kablosu 

kullanılabilir. Çoklu prizlerin veya grup priz modüllerinin kullanımı 

bununla bağlantılı yangın tehlikesinden dolayı yasaktır. 

■ Bağlantı kablosunun hasarlı olmadığından ve sıcak ve/veya 

keskin zemin üzerinden geçmediğinden emin olunuz.
