Liebe Gäste, hier sind wir wieder, um Ihnen auch dieses Jahr den Aufenthalt
an den Ufern unseres herrlichen Sees noch schöner zu gestalten.
Wie viele berühmte Persönlichkeiten haben den Gardasee geliebt und im
Laufe der Geschichte seine einzigartige Schönheit beschrieben! Wir
starten diesmal bei den sanften grünen Hügeln der mittlerweile bestens
bekannten Golf Clubs dieser Gegend, die nicht nur Spieler zu begeistern
wissen, sondern alle Outdoor Fans zu herrlichen Stunden vor der einmaligen
Kulisse des Sees und der Berge einladen. Natürlich stellen wir
Ihnen auch wieder unseren Terminkalender vor, mit einem reichhaltigen
Programm, in dem Tag für Tag die Veranstaltungen aufgelistet sind, die
von den zahlreichen Örtlichkeiten in diesem Sommer angeboten werden.
Kurz gesagt: es gibt viel zu sehen, zu erleben und zu probieren – für
einen Urlaub, in dem Langeweile wirklich nichts zu suchen hat.

DAS TURNIER RACE TO GARDA LAKE
RACE TO GARDA LAKE TOURNAMENT
Golf for Passion hat ein Turnier im Areal der besten Plätze der Garda Golf Region organisiert
zu einem außerordentlichen Event, für den eine Vielzahl von Spielern und Liebhabern
dieses Sports erwartet werden. Insgesamt sind es 25 Cups, 5 für jeden
Sportclub, der zu dieser Veranstaltung ausgewählt wurde: Chervò golf, Gardagolf, Arzaga
golf club, Franciacorta golf, und Golf Paradiso del Garda.Gespielt wird dienstags,
mittwochs und donnerstags, bis September, und an diesen Spieltagen bieten die Golf
Clubs allen Spielern besondere Tarife. Neben der Anmeldegebühr für das Turnier ist eine
Spende von 2 Euro zur Unterstützung von DRAVET ITALIA ONLUS vorgesehen (Verband
zur Forschung des Dravet Syndroms), dessen Testimonial der große Champion Matteo
Manassero ist.
Die Veranstaltung steht unter der Schirmherrschaft des Assessor Amtes für Fremdenverkehr
der Provinz Brescia, was dem besonderen Engagement von Assessorin Silvia Razzi
zu verdanken ist. Sie teilt voll und ganz unsere Überzeugung, dass gerade Events wie
diese dem Territorium und Tourismus in der Garda Region den richtigen Mehrwert verleihen.
Wir danken allen Sponsoren, die uns bei dieser Initiative unterstützen und sind sicher,
dass auch die zur Verfügung gestellten Auszeichnungen die Cups besonders

Golf for Passion has organised a tournament hosted by the best golf fields of the Garda Golf
Region aimed at holding an unprecedented event that will gather a large of players and
fans. A total number of 25 plays, 5 per club chosen for the event: Chervò Golf, Gardagolf, Arzaga
Golf Club, Franciacorta Golf, and Golf Paradiso del Garda.
The tournament will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until September. Golf
clubs will offer special rates to all players during these days.
In addition to the registration fee to the tournament, a 2-Euro contribution is requested to
sponsor DRAVET ITALIA ONLUS (a Dravet syndrome research foundation - NGO), of which the
great golf champion Matteo Manassero is a living proof.
The event is sponsored by the Tourism Office of the province of Brescia thanks to the great sensitivity
of Councillor Silvia Razzi, who – like us – believes that events like this can enhance the
value of our land and promote tourism in the Garda Region.
We want to thank all the sponsors that support our project. We are sure that the prizes will spur
a truly fierce competition among players: from gadgets up to weekends for two at prestigious
hotels. All this will turn the RACE TO GARDA LAKE into a unique tournament! The finale will be
held in October.

Das Konsortium zum Schutz des Grana Padano Käse (Consorzio
per la Tutela del Formaggio Grana Padano) wurde
1954 gegründet und garantiert bei jedem Käserad mit der
geschützten Ursprungsbezeichnung DOP die traditionellen
und anspruchsvollen Standards. Nach strikten Kontrollen
durch die Experten vom Konsortium und einer
speziellen Kontrollagentur (CSQA) wird dem Grana Padano
das DOP als Brandzeichen auf den Käselaib eingraviert.
Das Konsortium hat seinen Sitz in Desenzano del Garda, in
der Provinz Brescia, und befindet sich damit im Herzen des
Erzeugungsgebiets des Grana Padano. Das Gebiet erstreckt
sich über die gesamte Poebene, von Piemont bis
Venetien, über nordöstlich der Provinz von Trento und im
Süden einige Gebiete der Emilia Romagna. Das Grana
Padano Konsortium bringt Hersteller und Produzenten zusammen
und garantiert die traditionellen Produktionsstandards
und Qualität. Dies schützt vor Betrügern in
Italien und im Ausland.
Grana Padano wurde vor über 1.000 Jahren ein Teil des
stolzen, italienischen Gastronomie-Erbe. Es ist ein Halbfett
Hartkäse, mit einer feinen Struktur, mild und herzhaft im Geschmack.
Es gibt ihn in drei verschiedenen Reifegraden:
Grana Padano DOP (Zwischen 9 und 16 Monaten gereift),
Grana Padano „über 16 Monate“ (über 16 Monate gereift)
und Grana Padano Riserve (über 20 Monate gereift). Mit
den Reifemonaten verändert sich der Geschmack, die
Farbe und das intensive Aroma. Grana Padano ist der
meist verkaufteste DOP-Käse in der Welt.
Die ausgezeichnete Mischung aus Energiewert, Qualität
und Anzahl der Nährstoffe – „weniger Kalorien, mehr Nährstoffe“
– macht Grana Padano zum idealen Käse für alle
Zielgruppen.
Man braucht 15 Liter gute, frische Milch aus der Produktionsgegend
um 1 kg Grana Padano Käse herzustellen.
Dementsprechend erhält diese konzentrierte Milch einen
hohen biologischen Anteil an Proteinen für Muskeln, eine
Menge Vitamine, Antioxidantien, Zink und Vitamin A, welches
die Zellen vor freien Radikalen schützt.Außerdem ist
Grana Padano eine sehr gute Quelle für Calcium: nur 50
Gramm Grana Padano sind erforderlich um 600 Milligramm
Calcium zu produzieren (50% ist die vorgeschriebene
Menge für Jugendliche und Erwachsene). Diese
Zahlen zu erreichen ist einfach: ein Esslöffel mit geriebenem
Grana Padano enthält über 10 Gramm.

Padano), created in 1954, ensures that every wheel of
cheese is made to traditional, exacting standards so that
it can be awarded its P.D.O. (Protected Designation of
Origin) status and be fire-branded with the Grana Padano
mark, after strict controls and checks through the
Consortium's expert and a specific Control Agency
(CSQA).
Based in Desenzano del Garda, in the heart of the Grana
Padano production area situated in the River Po Valley,
North of Italy, and extending from Piemonte to Veneto,
touching in the North-Est the province of Trento and in
the south some areas of Emilia Romagna, the Grana Padano
Consortium brings together producers and curers
and ensures that traditional production standards are
maintained, the quality of Grana Padano guaranteed
and protects it against fraud in Italy and abroad.
Grana Padano has been a part of Italy's proud gastronomic
heritage for around 1000 years. It is a semi-fat hard
cheese, with a fine grainy structure, mellow and tasty flavour
yet never overpowering and can be found in 3 vintages:
Grana Padano DOP (9 to 16 months of ageing),
Grana Padano "oltre 16 mesi" (over 16 months) and
Grana Padano Riserva (over 20 months). This variance in
maturity leads to dramatic differences in flavour and texture.
Grana Padano is the most sold PDO cheese in the
world.
The excellent proportions between energy value, quality
and quantity of nutrients - "fewer calories more nutrients"
- make Grana Padano an ideal cheese for all
ages.
It takes 15 litres of good fresh milk from the production
area to make 1kg of Grana Padano cheese. So it is a
milk concentrate with high biological value proteins for
the muscles, lots of vitamins including B group and antioxidants
such as zinc and vitamin A, which protect cells
from free radicals.
But in particular Grana Padano is a great source of calcium:
just 50 g are needed to provide 600 milligrams of
calcium (50% of the required daily amount from teenagers
to the elderly). It is easy to reach these quantities:
a tablespoon of grated Grana Padano weighs about 10
grams!

Für Blumenfreunde und Hobbygärtner ein absolutes Muss: in den 3 Ausstellungstagen verwandelt
sich das Städtchen am Gardasee in einen Zaubergarten mit tausend bunten Blumen,
üppigen Grünpflanzen und Gewächsen jeder Art. Am 1. Juni steht ein Besuch mit
Führung auf dem Programm, der von Geschichte und Kultur erzählt: “I tesori di Padenghe”
(die Schätze von Padenghe), organisiert von dem Verein ‘Associazione Roverella’.
Unter der Führung von Prof. Andrea Nodari starten die Teilnehmer vom Zentrum des
Ortes zum Besuch der reizvollen Kulturschätze im grünen Valtenesi Tal!
TREFFPUNKT: um 16.45 Uhr vor dem Gemeindeamt von Padenghe.
VERLAUF: vom Bürgermeistersitz durchquert man den historischen Stadtkern bis zur Pfarrkirche
Santa Maria und der kleinen Kirche 'Madonna della Neve' von Villa. Nach dem
Besuch der Kirchen steigt man über die Treppe des Gässchens Vicolo Focardi zur Festung
hinauf, danach geht es zur Lokalität Monte und der alten Mühle. Ein schmaler
Pfad führt die Teilnehmer zurück in die Via Antica und zum antiken Waschplatz.
DIE TOUR IST FÜR ALLE GEEIGNET: Spaziergang über ungepflasterte und asphaltierte Teilstrecken,
Treppenaufgang und Panoramapfad.
DAUER: etwa 1 1/2 Stunden. Die Teilnehmer sind nicht durch eine Versicherungspolice

An event not to be missed by flora lovers; 3 days when this small Garda city turns into
an enchanted garden, made of hundreds of coloured flowers, plants and shrubs of all
kinds. A guided visit to historical places of cultural interest is scheduled to be held on 1st
June. It is called I tesori di Padenghe (The Treasures of Padenghe), and is organised by
the Roverella Association.
Participants, guided by Prof. Andrea Nodari, will leave from the city centre to visit the
cultural beauties of the Green Pearl of Valtenesi!
MEETING POINT: 04.45 p.m. in front of the Town Hall of Padenghe.
ROUTE: From the Town Hall through the historic quarter, participants will visit the parish
church of Saint Mary and the small church of Madonna della Neve di Villa. They will
climb the staircase by Vicolo Focardi to visit the castle, then the Monte hamlet and the
old mill, to climb down again along the track on Via Antica with the old wash-house.
INTENDED PARTICIPANTS: Route by foot, for everybody. It alternates unsurfaced stretches,
tarmac, staircases and panoramic trail.
DURATION: Approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Participants will not be covered by an insurance policy.

QUIGUSTOTOUR E QUINITALY

Eine Entdeckungstour ins Bel Paese, die uns auf der Suche nach
schmackhaften Spezialitäten und guten Tropfen an die schönsten
Orte führt, doch auch eine Reise, die erstklassige Produkte auf andere
Weise ins Rampenlicht stellt: wir finden sie auf charakteristischen
Märkten/Ausstellungen, die auf der, “Piazza“ oder in Straßenvierteln,
mit Gastronomieständen und in Einkaufscentern in halb Italien organisiert
werden. Wie könnten wir Sinn und Zweck dieser reiselustigen
QUINITALY, QUIGUSTOTOUR 2013 Initiative besser zum Ausdruck
bringen als mit einem “Fahrtenbuch” und einer außergewöhnlichen
Protagonistin auf vier Rädern namens Priscilla.
Priscilla ist mein Auto, meine Begleiterin unzähliger Stunden auf Landstraße
und Autobahn auf der Suche nach den Orten – ‚Piazze‘,
Straßen, Einkaufscenter – wo QUIGUSTOTOUR 2013 zu Gast ist.
Priscilla kennt mittlerweile die Straße, jede Kurve, jedes Schlagloch
fast auswendig und bringt mich sicher ans Ziel, bis nach Desenzano
del Garda. An drei Tagen im Monat sind wir im Einkaufscenter LE
VELE. Dieses Center hatte ich als erstes besucht, um es 2012 in die
QUIGUSTOTOUR Liste aufzunehmen. Ich kann mich noch an jede Einzelheit
erinnern: auf der Rolltreppe ging mir das Herz auf. Ich kam in
eine Arkade, die mit üppigen Pflanzen geschmückt war, fröhliches
Vogelgezwitscher begrüßte mich. Für mich – ich reagiere eher allergisch
auf Lokale mit vielen Menschen, wo man kein Tageslicht geschweige
denn die Sonne sieht – war das eine echte Überraschung.
In dieser Galerie verläuft eine kleine, bepflasterte Straße mit Bänken
unter Olivenbäumen, wo man sich es mit einem Buch gemütlich
machen, in aller Ruhe ein Eis essen oder mit Freunden tratschen
kann. Eben der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die QUINITALY – QUIGU-
STOTOUR.
Seither ist einige Zeit vergangen: es gibt schon länger zahlreiche Kunden, die auf ihren “Stammplatz”
nicht mehr verzichten möchten: hier probieren und kaufen sie Süßigkeiten aus Sizilien
oder lassen sich von den vielfältigen Duftnoten Sardiniens verführen: verschiedene Schafskäsesorten,
Carasau Brot, herzhaft gewürzte Wurstwaren und Schinken. Man kann Oliven aus Apulien
und schmackhafte, mit verschiedenen Zutaten angereicherte ‚focacce‘ Brotfladen
genießen, die Spitzenreiter der ATMOSFERA ITALIANA, ebenso wie die leckeren Wurstwaren aus
der Lombardei, und duftender durchwachsener Bauchspeck in verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen;
der Blick gleitet über die mit Pilzen gefüllten Gläser, die ich besonders mag und für
die ganz Mutigen gibt es dann noch extra scharfe Salami mit Peperoncino, allen voran die
Nduja, beste Repräsentantin von Kalabrien. Auch das CAFFE’ TRE MORE erobert unsere Sinne,
es riecht herrlich nach frisch gemahlenem Kaffee, der jetzt wieder wie früher lose verkauft wird.
Und es gibt noch viele andere Köstlichkeiten, die uns zum Genießen und Verwöhnen einladen.
Jedes Mal kommen neue Aussteller hinzu, die neben den bereits bestehenden Geschäften und
Stands (mit ihrer Stammkundschaft) das Angebot noch abwechslungsreicher gestalten.

und, wie wär’s- stilvoll begleitet von einem guten Glas Lambrusco!
• FESTA DEL GRANO (Weizenfest) am 26.-27.-28. Juli, ein Querschnitt durch die Vielfalt der italienischen
Pasta Sorten und anderer Weizenprodukte: natürlich kann
man hier Brot, Pasta, Backwaren und zahlreiche andere Produkte
kosten, die ITALIEN und seine Küche berühmt gemacht haben.
• A TUTTO SPIEDO – Grillen, was das Zeug hält, heißt es dann wieder
am 23.-24.-25. August, mit dem KÖNIG der Brescianer Küche: der
FLEISCHSPIESS mit Polenta bittet in Via Santa Maria zu Tisch, um mit
viel Spaß und Unterhaltung den letzten Sonntag im August miteinander
zu verbringen. Klar, von einem “Addio” ist natürlich noch
lange nicht die Rede, wir sagen nur gerade mal‚ Arrivederci‘ bis
Ende September, da sehen wir uns wieder, in der Via Santa Maria in
Desenzano zu den Herbst Events!!!
A journey into discovering the finest wine & food products in the
most charming corners of our beautiful region, as well as a trip to
make them known by displaying them at market fairs organised at
squares, roads and shopping malls of half Italy. To better understand
the “wandering” flavour of QUIGUSTOTOUR 2013, a QUINITALY project,
there is nothing better than a journal with an outstanding fourwheeled
protagonist: Priscilla.
Priscilla is my car, my companion through long hours spent on roads
and motorways looking for places – squares, streets, shopping malls
– hosting QUIGUSTOTOUR 2013.
Priscilla already knows the road by heart and carries me effortlessly,
anticipating bends and potholes on the tarmac, until we get to Desenzano
del Garda. We spend three days a month at the LE VELE
Shopping Mall. To tell the truth, this was the first mall I visited to introduce
QUIGUSTOTOUR in 2012. When I was climbing the moving
staircase, I felt heartened. I found myself within an arcade ornated
with luxuriant plants, with little birds flying inside and singing joyfully.
For me – I am allergic to places packed with people where you can
never see the sun – this was a real surprise. The arcade is a small
street with a paved path and benches under olive trees, where you
can comfortably read, have a nice ice-cream or talk with friends.
Well, this is the ideal place to begin the adventure and introduce
QUINITALY – QUIGUSTOTOUR. A long time has already gone by:
every month, customers, who are already devoted followers, always
meet at these same places in order to taste and compare desserts
from Sicily, and dive into the aromas of Sardegna with Pecorino
cheese, Carasau bread, spiced and cured salami. You can taste
Pugliese olives and stuffed focaccia bread, the top-quality TRULY
ITALIAN products, the extremely tasty salami and flavoured bacon from Lombardy; and there
you can stop to see the jars with mushrooms that I love so much. And only for the truly brave,
salami with hot pepper, with the spreadable Nduja sausage as the per excellence salami representing
Calabria. The senses are conquered by CAFFE’ TRE MORE, which is sold loose, as it
was in the old days. And there is still so much more. Every time there are new exhibitors, in addition
to those that have already made loyal customers; therefore, there are always new things.

And then ...NOTTI BIANCHE A DESENZANO (WHITE NIGHTS IN DESENZANO) with lots of travelling
music shows, handicrafts markets and good food, on Via Santa Maria and Via Roma, every
Wednesday starting in June, and continuing during July and August on the following dates:

by-products, you can taste bread, pasta, pizza, desserts and all the products that have made
ITALY a famous food & wide paradise.
• A TUTTO SPIEDO (Spit-roasting) festival, 23-24-25 August. Keep the best memories of summer.
Here is the KING of Brescian cuisine: SPIT-ROASTING and polenta, which are cooked and served
on Via Santa Maria. A lot of joy and the desire to spend together the last Sunday of August. But
this will not be a goodbye, but rather a “see you by the end of September”, always on Via Santa
Maria in Desenzano, when we will get together again to enjoy the autumn events!!

CASTELLARO LAGUSELLO
Die Fahrt in Richtung Süden der Hügel führt nach Castellaro Lagusello,
bekanntestes Ferienziel und mit Sicherheit einer der reizvollsten
Orte dieses Gebietes. Einer der schönsten “Borghi
d’Italia”, mit seinen Festungsmauern, die sich stolz über einem
kleinen See erheben. Man schreitet durch das Eingangstor der
zinnengekrönten und von Türmen unterbrochenen Stadtmauer
in eine praktisch intakte Altstadt. Hoch über dem Ort erhebt sich
auf einem weitläufigen Platz die Villa Tacoli aus dem 19. Jahrhundert,
welche die einstige Residenz der Gonzaga ersetzt.
Heading south into the hills, you arrive in Castellaro Lagusello,
the best known tourist center and the pearl of the moraine hills.
One of the most beautiful fortified "Borghi of Italy", overlooking
a small hill at the foot of which a pool of spring water opens up.
Past the front door moving in from the city wall with Guelf battlements
with towers, you can admire the structure of the intact
building. On top of the village, on a larger square, is the nineteenth-century
Tacoli manor house, which replaced the former
residence of the Gonzaga.
SOLFERINO
Der Blick nach Norden lässt, eingebettet in die üppige Vegetation der
Hügellandschaft (von Napoleon III “le mamelone” genannt), den mittelalterlichen
Wachtturm von Solferino erkennen, die sogenannte ‘Rocca’;
der Ort ist auch bekannt für die gleichnamige Schlacht, die hier 1859 zur
Unabhängigkeit Italiens ausgetragen wurde und galt als “Spion Italiens”
dank der militärisch strategischen Position, die man vom Gipfel des Hügels
hatte (mit ihren 206 m ü.d.M. die größte Erhebung), der den Ort beherrscht.
Die Terrasse der Festungsanlage bietet ein 360° Panorama, das
zu den schönsten Ausblicken Italiens gehört. Besonders interessant ist der
obere Teil der kleinen Gemeinde mit der Burg, errichtet von Orazio Gonzaga
zwischen 1563 und 1585 und die weitläufige Panoramaterrasse zum
See, sowie die San Nicola Kirche aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Im südöstlichen
Teil der herrliche Wachtturm mit Spitzbogenkuppel. . Solferino birgt
in Erinnerung an die Schlacht das Beinhaus der Gefallenen, das Museum
‘Museo del Risorgimento’ und das Monument des Roten Kreuzes, das
1959 zur Jahresfeier der Gründung dieser Einrichtung errichtet wurde. Der
Ort ist das symbolische „Herz“ dieses Territoriums und Sitz des Fremdenverkehrsverbandes
des Hügelgebietes “Colline Moreniche del Garda”.
To the north sprouting forth from the thick vegetation of the hill (which Napoleon III called "the mamelone"), is the prismatic medieval tower of Solferino, the so-called Fortress, which is also famous
for the eponymous battle that was fought here for Italian independence in 1859 and known as the "Spy of Italy" for the militarily strategic position it enjoyed from the top of the hill (the highest
hill of the arc, 206 m above sea level) overlooking the town. The terrace overlooks a 360 degree view which is one of the richest and most beautiful in Italy. Interesting from the urbanistic
point of view and especially the upper part of the small town housing the unmissable castle built by Horace Gonzaga between 1563 and 1585 with the large square facing the scenic Lake
Garda and the seventeenth-century parish church of St. Nicholas. In the south-eastern corner, the beautiful Watchtower with pointed dome. Memorial area of Solferino, with the ossuary of the
fallen in the famous battle, the Museum of the Risorgimento and the Memorial to the Idea of the Red Cross, erected in 1959 on the occasion of the centenary, as well as the symbolic heart of
this territory, home of the Association for tourism promotion "Morainic hills of Lake Garda".
GIUDIZZOLO
Auch dieser Ort hat viel zu bieten: ein sehr schönes Theater, die
antike Pfarrkirche; der Stadtkern in typischer “Castrum” Struktur
birgt den prächtigen Rizzini Palast mit Park und zahlreiche Fassaden
der Häuser sind dank der Initiative der Stiftung “NonSoloArte
Franco Bombana”, mit reizvollen themenbezogenen
Murales geschmückt , die Guidizzolo zu einem bemalten Ort
machen. Auf der Fahrt nach Norden stößt man, inmitten der
ländlichen Ruhe, auf das mittelalterliche San Lorenzo Oratorium,
mit Freskenmalereien im Innern aus den Jahren 1450-1510, im
Stile des Mantegna. Das Oratorium wurde in einer Gegend errichtet,
die reich an Wasserquellen ist und ganz in der Nähe
kann man noch eine antike Mühle aus der damaligen Epoche
bewundern.
With its beautiful theatre, his old parish church, the historical
center, built around the Castrum, home to a lordly mansion (Rizzini)
with park and, on many sides of the streets, promoted by

authors’thematic murals which make Guidizzolo a painted
area. Further south, in the peace of the country, we find the
medieval oratory of San Lorenzo, with interior walls covered with
votive frescoes dated 1450-1510, of Mantegnan type. The oratory
was erected in an area full of springs of pure spring water
and near an old mill there.
POZZOLENGO
GOITO
Geografisch gesehen ist Pozzolengo der letzte Ort der Provinz von Brescia, “eingekeilt” zwischen
den Provinzen Mantua und Verona. Hier trug die Eisenbahnstation “Ferdinandea” im 19. Jahrhundert
den Namen des unweit gelegenen Ortes: Pozzolengo, der mit einer schönen mittelalterlichen,
von runden Türmen geprägten Burg und einer Pfarrkirche aus dem 16. Jahrhundert
gekennzeichnet ist; die Kirche wurde Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts erweitert und birgt wertvolle
Gemälde.
The last country area, geographically speaking, of the province of Brescia wedged between
the provinces of Mantua and Verona. Here the railroad station " Ferdinandea " in 800 was called
by the name of the town you come to a little further on: Pozzolengo, with its beautiful medieval
castle from the cylindrical towers and the sixteenth-century parish church, enlarged at the
end of 700, a treasure chest of valuable paintings.
VOLTA MANTOVANA
Auf einem Hügel gelegen, mit noch gut erhaltenen Festungsmauern und zwei Türmen; von besonderer
strategischer Bedeutung mit beherrschender Position, die ihren Skaliger Ursprung vermuten
lässt, wurde der Bau später in eine prächtige Villa mit reizvoller Gartenanlage verwandelt,
die den Gonzaga als Sommerresidenz diente.
On top of the hill with the castle walls and towers intact, of particular strategic importance because
of its dominant position which suggests the origin of Verona, the building was later converted
into a massive villa with beautiful gardens as the country residence of the Gonzaga.
Der Weiler Goito, dessen Name von den Goten abgeleitet scheint (489 v. Chr.) erstreckt sich zum größten
Teil am rechten Ufer des Mincio. Er ist der Ort der Bersaglieri, wovon eine Bronzeskulptur (des Künstlers
Carlo Ceragioli) auf der Brücke "Ponte della Gloria" über dem Fluss zeugt, zur Erinnerung an die
Heldentaten dieser Soldaten in den Unabhängigkeitskriegen. Den Gonzaga ist ein Schloss und ein
prächtig verzierter Palazzo mit wertvollen Gemälden zu verdanken.
The village of Goito, whose name apparently derives from the Goths (489 AD) is located mostly on the right
bank of the river Mincio. It is the country of Bersaglieri and there is a bronze version (by the sculptor Charles
Ceragioli) on the "Bridge of Glory" on the river, in memory of the exploits of the wars of independence. With
Gonzaga there was also a castle and a sumptuous palace decorated with valuable paintings.
MARMIROLO
Die Geschichte von Marmirolo ist eng mit der Geschichte der Gonzaga und ihrer wachsenden Bedeutung
verbunden. 1435 ließ der Markgraf Gianfrancesco Gonzaga hier einen prunkvollen Palast
errichten, in dem Hunderte von Personen untergebracht werden konnten und der im Außenbereich
mit einem einzigartigen Garten versehen ist; nach dessen Tod ordnete sein Sohn Federico an, den
Bau im Stile des Rinascimento zu bereichern, und der Palast wurde so, wegen seiner ausgesprochenen
Schönheit, fortan “Famoso Palazzo” genannt. Nennenswert sind unter anderem die Springbrunnen,
die den Garten zierten. Nach 1630 begann der Verfall der Paläste und des Schlosses, sodass die
Zentralverwaltung Mincio im Jahre 1798 den vollständigen Abbruch der Bauten anordnete. Als einzige
Überreste blieben die Ruinen einer Brücke bestehen, die über den Wasserlauf Re führt. Marmirolo bietet
herrliche Landschaften wie die Naturoase im Ortsteil Pozzolo und Bosco Fontana mit dem kleinen
Jagdhaus der Gonzaga. Ein weitläufiges Areal gehört heute zur Parkanlage ‘Parco del Mincio‘.
The history of Marmirolo is inseparable from the history of Gonzaga and their ascent. In 1435 the Marquis
Gianfrancesco Gonzaga built a sumptuous palace which could accommodate hundreds of
people outside lay a beautiful garden, at his death his son Frederick ordered it to be embellished as
was done during the Renaissance, its beauty earned it the name of "Famous Palace" over time. Worthy
of note are the fountains that adorned the garden. After 1630 the palatial buildings and castle fell
into decline, and in 1798 the Central Government of the Mincio ordered its complete demolition, and
the only vestiges left were the ruins of a bridge crossing the Re river. Marmirolo with its plurality of landscapes
offering some excellent natural heritage sites such as the fraction of Pozzolo and Bosco Fontana
and the Gonzaga hunting lodge. Much of the territory is covered by the Mincio Park.

ZEITLOSE LEGENDE
A TIMELESS MYTH
Donnerstag, 16. Mai 2013: ein weiterer Meilenstein auf
dem Weg dieses einzigartigen Rennens, das im Jahre
1927 von vier Autofans in Brescia erfunden wurde. Seit damals
hat sich zwar Einiges geändert, doch die Legende
hat kaum etwas von ihrem einstigen Charme verloren.
Man kehrt zurück auf die gleichen Straßen, wo die ersten
Teilnehmerwagen in etwas mehr als 20 Stunden die
Strecke hinter sich brachten, mit Geschwindigkeiten, die
für die damalige Zeit wirklich atemberaubend waren.
Im Laufe der Jahre wurde aus dem einstigen Geschwindigkeitsrennen
die Langstreckentour, wie wir sie heute
kennen, mit all den herrlichen Automodellen, die Jahr um
Jahr diese internationale Roadshow weiter bereichern
und „für immer“ das Herz der Italiener und aller Mille Miglia
Liebhaber aus vielen Ländern erobert haben.
Bald ist es wieder soweit für die legendären Oldies und
ihre Mannschaften: 1600 Kilometer trennen 410 Wagen

Ein achtförmiger Streckenverlauf durch das „Bel Paese“,
der auch dieses Jahr zahlreiche Neuheiten bereithält: besonders
gern gesehen in der Ausgabe 2013 ist die „Rückkehr“
in die Städte Ferrara und Ravenna, ebenso wie die
Etappen Padua und Vicenza vom Publikum sehr begrüßt
werden. Erneut mit von der Partie sind die zeitgestoppten
Strecken von Fiorano, die Tour bei Maranello, im Autodrom
von Vallelunga und in Modena, vorbei am Enzo Ferrari
Museum, das erst vor kurzem eröffnet wurde.
Als „festliche Einleitung“ haben wir auch diesmal den außerordentlichen
‚Ferrari Tribute‘ – 150 Ferrari Modelle von
gestern und heute fahren der Mille Miglia, (dem schönsten
Rennen der Welt, wie es auch genannt wird) voraus
und feiern in einer einzigartigen Show eine der beliebtesten
Exzellenzen des ‚Made in Italy‘.

one-way road race
born in Brescia by four car
enthusiasts. It was 1927. A lot
of things have changed
since then, but the myth remains.
We are going back
to the historical roads, to
those routes that competition
cars covered in a little
bit more than 20 hours over eighty years ago, shooting off at speeds
never seen at those times.
As years went by, the competition, which was originally a speed
race, turned into an endurance event. However, the fascination of
the splendid racing cars that take part in the race year after year
has not changed. The famous is already a legend deeply rooted
in the heart of Italians. And not only that. A challenge to the sound
of roaring engines for classic cars and their crews who will try to
write their names in the Mille Miglia Hall of Fame.
One thousand and six hundred kilometres separates the 410 competing
cars from the finish line; one thousand miles to be covered
in 35 hours through the charming landscapes of six regions (Lombardy,
Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Tuscany, Umbria, Abruzzo and
Lazio) and the Republic of San Marino. An 8-shaped route along
the roads of our country that has something new to offer every
year. The cities of Ferrara and Ravenna are once again included
in the race route, a highly expected return for the 2013 edition, as
much as the stages of Padua and Vicenza.
The time trials of Fiorano, the passage by Maranello, the motor-racing
track of Vallelunga and, in Modena, before the Enzo Ferrari
House Museum, which opened recently, have been reintroduced.
The extraordinary Ferrari Tribute has also been confirmed.
The event will be held a couple of minutes before the Mille Miglia
passes, includes the traditional “parade” of 150 vintage and modern
Ferraris.
A unique and exciting show that celebrates the Made-in-Italy excellence.

ZUBEREITUNG:/PREPARATION:
In einer Pfanne 50 g Butter langsam schmelzen lassen.
Vom Herd nehmen und 40 g Mehl, unter ständigem Rühren, beifügen.
Die Pfanne wieder auf den Herd stellen und 250 g Milch und 100g Sahne beigeben und zum Kochen bringen.
Nach dem Aufkochen den Herd sofort ausschalten und 3 ganze Eier, 3 Hand voll geriebenen Bagoss-
Käse, Salz und Pfeffer beigeben.
Die Innenfläche von 4 oder mehr Puddingformen (wohlgemerkt kleine Formen) einfetten und das Gemisch
hineingeben. Im Ofen bei 140 Grad etwa 40 Minuten backen, bis sich eine goldfarbene Kruste bildet.
Um den Auflauf zu stürzen, benutzen wir ein kleines Messer um die Crème von der Innenseite der
Formen zu lösen und klopfen dabei leicht auf die Oberseite der Form.
Put 50 g of butter in a pot and oil it softly.
Remove the pot from the flame and add 40 g of flour. Mix well. Put the pot back on the flame and add
2.5 hg of milk and 1 hg of cream. Bring to the boil. Turn off the flame immediately and blend 3 whole eggs,
3 fistfuls of grated Bagoss cheese, salt and pepper
Grease the internal surface of 4 or more pudding moulds (the small ones) and pour the mixture on them.
Put them in the oven for 40 minutes, at 140º, until a small golden crust can be seen.
To take out the puddings and place them on dishes, use a small knife removing the cream from the
mould walls, and hit them slightly.
ZUBEREITUNG:/PREPARATION:
In einem Dampfkörbchen dämpfen wir etwa 10 Sardinen, 3 Zwiebeln,
1 Karotte und 2 Stangen Sellerie. Wenn die Sardinen gekocht
sind, filetieren wir sie (mit etwas Geduld) und entfernen alle Gräten.
Anschließend zerstoßen wir das Fleisch in einem Mörser oder zerdrücken
es in einem Teller mit einem Löffel, um die eventuell noch
vorhandenen, unangenehmen, wenn auch ungefährlichen, kleinen
Gräten zu zerkleinern. Das gedämpfte Gemüse in kleine
Stücke schneiden und 1 Sträußchen Petersilie und 1 Knoblauchzehe
fein hacken. Die Sardinen, das gedünstete Gemüse, den
Knoblauch und die Petersilie in einen Behälter geben, salzen und
2 Eier darüber geben. Mit den Händen alles zusammenmischen
und mehrere Frikadellen formen, die anschließend in geriebenem
Brot gewälzt werden. Die Fischklösschen frittieren und wenn sie
schön goldbraun sind auf einem Teller, dekoriert mit etwas Petersilie,
anrichten. Dieses schmackhafte Gericht kann, dank der reichen
Auswahl von Gewürzen individuell umgestaltet werden.
In a basket for steaming, boil 10 sardines, 3 onions, 1 carrot and 2
celery sticks. Once the sardines are cooked, take them (with some
patience), fillet them and eliminate all the bones. Then, mince the
meat in a mortar or in a dish (with a spoon) so as to eliminate the
discomfort caused by possible small, harmless fishbones. Cut the
cooked vegetables into pieces, and chop up a couple of sprigs of
parsley and a garlic clove. In a container, place the sardine meat,
the boiled vegetables, the garlic and the parsley, add salt and 2
eggs. Mix everything well with your hands and prepare several rissoles.
Pass them through grated bread. Fry them, and when they
are perfectly browned, put them on a dish with some sprigs of parsley
as decoration. This is an appealing dish that can be personalised
by adding a thousand different flavours.

SPEZIELLE SPAGHETTIART MIT SCHLEIE UND KANDIRTER ZITRONE
‘BIGOLI AL TORCHIO’ (BIGOLI PASTA MADE WITH A PRESS)
ZUBEREITUNG:/PREPARATION:
Etwa 300 g Fleisch der Schleie, in 2-3 cm breite Stücke zerteilen, ohne die
Haut zu entfernen. Die Fischstücke in Mehl wenden und frittieren, bis sie
knusprig werden.
1 Zwiebel, 1 Karotte, und 1 Stängel Staudensellerie in Scheiben schneiden
und in einem Topf mit etwas Butter andünsten. 1 Stängel Rosmarin, ½
Glas Weißwein, einen Schöpflöffel Fleischbrühe, Salz und Pfeffer beigeben.
Der Sauce 2 Cocktail Tomaten beifügen. Etwa 5 Minuten köcheln
lassen. Die Nudeln abschütten und die vorbereitete Sauce, sowie die kandierten
Zitronen beigeben. Das Gericht schmeckt besonders gut mit einigen
Tropfen (des echten) Balsamico-Essig aus Modena. Wer die
Zitronenschale selbst kandieren will, beachte bitte das folgende Rezept,
das allerdings etwas aufwendig ist. In einer breiten Teflonpfanne 100 g Zitronenschalen,
200 g Zucker und 2 l Wasser geben,10 Minuten kochen
und anschließend abkühlen lassen. Den gleichen Vorgang noch zweimal
wiederholen,, anschließend die Zitrone aus dem Wasser nehmen, auf beiden
Seiten mit Zucker bedecken und auf einem Teller trocknen lassen.

Cut 3 hg of tench pulp into small square pieces of about 2 or 3 cm; leave
the skin on. Flour and fry until crispy.
Slice 1 onion, 1 carrot, and 1 celery stalk. Place them in a pot with butter
and sauté. Add 1 twig of rosemary, ½ glass of white wine and 1 ladle of
meat broth, salt and pepper. Add 2 cheery tomatoes to the sauce. Let
them cook for 5 minutes. Drain the pasta and add the sauce that we
have prepared and some candied lemon peel. The dish is great if a few
drops of (pure) balsamic vinegar of Modena are added. If you want to
candy lemon grind yourself, you must follow these steps that will take
some time. Add 1 hg grind, 2 hg sugar and 2 litres of water into a large,
non-stick frying pan; bring to the boil. Let them boil for 10 minutes, and
then let everything cool down. Bring preparation back on the heat for a
second time, following the same steps. Then turn off the cooker and let
everything to cool down. Repeat the steps for a third time; then remove
the lemon; cover it with sugar on both sides and leave to dry on a dish.
