Auch der Gründer der Schule, Professor Bierbaumer,
war sichtlich beeindruckt. Und falls
man eine kurze Gelegenheit fand und einen
Blick zur Seite warf, sah man in strahlende
Kinderaugen, die höchstwahrscheinlich noch
nie zuvor in der Schule je so glänzten.
Natürlich war das gesamte Publikum, vor
allem aber die anwesenden Schüler, von den
3.Mai neben schmackhaftem Essen auch tolle
Getränken wie zum Beispiel Bowle, Cola, Sekt
und Wein angeboten wurden.
„Das Projekt im Allgemeinen ist wahnsinnig
toll und ich finde es sehr bewundernswert
was ihr Schüler hier alles auf die Beine
gestellt habt!“, so der begeisterte Professor
Bierbaumer, welcher einer unserer Ehrengäste
war. Weitere Besucher waren sehr
beeindruckt:“ Die Bio-Ecke bietet tolle
selbstgemachte Brötchen und Aufstriche
an.“ Herrliche spanische, italienische und
französische Köstlichkeiten wurden in der
mediterranen Ecke zubereitet und zogen
viele faszinierte Besucher an. Auch die
Mehlspeisen und Kuchen waren ein
Blickfang und fanden viele Liebhaber
unter den Gästen.
Gesponsert wurde das Ganze von Spar
(Getränke), Mangolds,
Matzer (Bio-Ecke) und Auer (Mehlspeisen).
Auch die Eltern beteiligten sich fleißigst und
lieferten leckere Kuchen und andere Süßigkeiten.
Nicht nur buffetmäßig wurde der
Abend ein großer Erfolg!!

runners. We struggled to complete every mile
we could, because we knew, with every mile
we would earn money for the Fachschule Mariengasse.
The sweat glistened on our faces
and everyone was exhausted. The students of
the Mariengasse cheered for us and we didn´t
give up. All together, we managed to collect
about six thousand euros for them! We, the
runners, were successful in this project and
nobody thought we could collect such an
enormous sum. I think we can be really proud
of ourselves and again we would like to thank
all who took part.

„Insider“ Kabarett-Einlagen begeistert, welche
Clemens extra für diesen Abend geschrieben
hatte. Das „Patschen Revolutions- Lied“ beispielsweise,
löste vor allem unter ihnen wahre
Begeisterungsstürme aus. Jeder von uns ahnt
seit der Patschenpflicht, wie sich ein plumper
Jogibär fühlt – einfach „patschert“. Doch
auch die anderen Lieder, die unser Star für
uns sang, waren äußerst amüsant. Natürlich
hätten sie nur halb so gut geklungen, hätte
Clemens nicht eine musikalische Unterstützung
von Johannes Maller erfahren, welcher
am Keyboard „abrockte“ wie ein Profi. Wir
können nur noch einmal die Worte des CMS
wiederholen „Zensiert heißt wollen, unzensiert
heißt wagen.“ Haltet unserem Clemens die
Treue und wagt euch in seine kommenden
Vorstellungen im Theatercafe und an anderen
Orten, denn am neuen Programm feilt er trotz
Maturastress’ schon eifrig.

Best of… for Body and Brains
Emsig huschten die jungen Kellner umher und
boten den Gästen ihre Häppchen an.
Nicht nur das Kabarett des Abendstars Clemens
Maria Schreiner ist ehrwähnenswert,
sondern auch das überaus köstliche und
einzigartige Buffet, welches von 27 eifrigen
Schülern und fünf Lehrern ausgerichtet
wurde. Sie zauberten ein bewundernswertes
Sortiment an Essen und Getränken für den
Benefizabend zugunsten der Fachschule
Mariengasse. Die Vorbereitungen waren
schon am 2. Mai voll im Gange, sodass am
Action Day
11 th of May
Money for Miles
The 11th of May was the final day of our
project. It was a day of excitement and
tension. Had the organization team planned
everything carefully? Would there be good
weather conditions? Would there be enough
to eat and drink? How much money would
be raised? Anna Schiffbänker and Liesa
Feichtinger were live at the event reporting
for you.
At 7:45 all runners met in the classrooms
and got changed. Only one hour later, the
enthusiastic students started their sponsored
run in the “Augartenpark”. The organization
team did a great job and we would like
to thank them for the perfect organization.
Every student had two hours to run as many
laps as possible, and for every 500 m lap
the students ran they got a stamp on their
hands. There was a refreshment station
where you could have a rest, drink something
and eat fruit.
Some of our GIBS students even managed
to run more than 30 laps! Also the American
Football team, lead by Mr. Hölbling, joined our

Money for facts
The big day had come! The children who had
prepared questions for this day, who had practiced
running and swimming, were now ready
to take part at the Laufwunder action day. All
the students would run, swim, walk or sell their
knowledge. As soon as the school doors were
open in the morning, all the kids stormed into
the building and gave the money that they had
collected until then to a teacher.
The kids sell knowledge-group met in the 3a
classroom. The teachers then requested that
the kids practice asking people if they wanted
to buy some of their knowledge and giving
them answers. Then the students got into
small groups of two or three. There were two
possibilities where they could go--Lendplatz
or Mariahilferplatz. Then the teachers who had
come with them built little stands and tried to
interest people and collect the money that
the groups had earned. The people mainly
reacted happily and in a friendly way when
they heard that we were helping the Fachhochschule
Mariengasse. Many people didn’t
know about the school, so the involved GIBS
students had to prepare a speech in which
they introduced the Fachschule Mariengasse
