Characteristics
NiCrMo alloy die steel with good tempering
properties. For working hardness up to 440
HB � 1500 N/mm 2 .
Application
For high volume forging dies regardless of die
size and shape of cut, large press dies for
forming aluminium, die and mould holders,
tool holders and cold forging die holders, tool
cassettes. Hydroforming moulds (IHU).
Delivered condition
Annealed to 248 HB � 840 N/mm 2 . max. Hardened
and tempered to 370–415 HB � 1250–
1400 N/mm 2 (for flat dimensions < 300 x 700
mm).

Recuit à 248 HB max. � 840 N/mm 2 . Traité à
370–415 HB � 1250–1400 N/mm 2 (pour tôle
plate juqu'à 300 x 700 mm).
