Characteristics
Air hardened case-hardening steel. Low-distortion
mould steel with surface hardness
< 60 HRC and high core hardness 297-355 HB
after case hardening with air cooling, highpolishable.
Application
Compression and injection moulding dies
with high mechanical stress combined with
abrasive surface stress; for processing transparent
thermoplastics such as PS, PMMA, PC.
Delivered condition
Annealed to 250 HB � 840 N/mm 2 .

Outils de moulage sous pression et par injections
soumis à de fortes contraintes mécaniques
et simultanément à l’abrasion superficielle;
pour la transformation de thermoplastes
transparents tels que PS, PMMA, PC.
