and Scheffer transport systems. Almost every Scheffer crane
is equipped with motors, gearboxes and frequency converters

Every day, almost 500 researchers and developers are engaged
in inventing the future of drive technology, continually making

Spaeter Hannover
Everything new
in the year 2007
The Carl Spaeter Group has taken account of the requirements
on a modern steel-trading company and closed its previous
location in Hannover. On a site covering 30,000 m², a modern
new building is currently being constructed, which with a hall area
of approx. 9.000 m² will enable the significantly improved handling
of non-ferrous metals in comparison to the previous location.
Once again “Scheffer Krantechnik” as a partner was able to
convince the customer with a conclusive and coherent concept,
supplying a total of 4 load-stabilised single-girder trolley cranes
for the project. 3 of the cranes are designed as double-trolley solutions
with a load-carrying capacity of 2 x 3.2 to and a span of
up to 28,000 mm. The fourth crane, with a load-carrying capacity
of 10 to, is equipped with our Starlifter, the sheet-metal assembly
gripper from the firm of Scheffer. This allows the transportation of
individual sheets, made-up packages or several sheet-metal assemblies
in small, medium and large formats all at the same time.
From January 2008, around 40 employees will be handling
several thousand tonnes of steel at the new location using the
very latest technology. Designed for future requirements, the
warehouse concept will soon offer a modern workplace for
a further 60 employees.

Jahr 2007
Die Carl Spaeter Gruppe hat den Anforderungen an ein modernes
Stahlhandelsunternehmen Rechnung getragen und den bisherigen
Standort in Hannover aufgegeben. Auf einem 30.000 m²
Grundstück wird zur Zeit ein moderner Neubau errichtet, der mit
einer Hallenfläche von etwa 9.000 m² den Umschlag von Nichteisenmetallen
wesentlich optimierter als am bisherigen Standort
ermöglicht. Auch hier konnte die Scheffer Krantechnik als Partner
mit einem schlüssigen Konzept überzeugen und hat hier insgesamt
4 lastberuhigte Einträgerwinkelkatzkrane geliefert. Davon
sind 3 Krane als Zweikatzlösung mit einer Tragfähigkeit von 2 x
3,2 t und einer Spurweite von bis zu 28.000mm ausgeführt. Ein
weiterer Kran, der eine Tragfähigkeit von 10 to hat, ist mit unserem
Starlifter, dem Blechpaketgreifer der Firma Scheffer, ausgestattet.
Hiermit ist es möglich, Einzelbleche, Kundenkommissionen
und gleichzeitig mehrere Blechpakete im Klein-, Mittel- und
Großformat zu transportieren.
Ab Januar 2008 werden am neuen Standort mit modernster Technik
ca. 40 Mitarbeiter mehrere tausend Tonnen Stahl umschlagen.
Das auf Zukunft ausgerichtete Lagerkonzept soll mittelfristig 60
Mitarbeitern einen modernen Arbeitsplatz bieten.
