Forschungsinteressen:<br />
Neuropsychologische und neurobiologische Korrelate der<br />
Emotionswahrnehmung, Emotionsregulation und Empathie bei Kindern und<br />
Jugendlichen mit aggressivem und gewalttätigem Verhalten, auch in Abgrenzung<br />
zu anderen kinder- und jugendpsychiatrischen Störungsbildern (beispielsweise<br />
Patienten mit Autismus-Spektrum-Störungen). Weitere Schwerpunkte liegen in<br />
der Evaluation eines intensivtherapeutischen Behandlungskonzepts für<br />
autistische Kinder im Vorschulbereich (FIAS) sowie einem multimodalen<br />
Behandlungsprogramm (VIA) für Patienten mit aggressiven Verhaltensstörungen.<br />
Auch hier finden Fragen zur differentiellen Wirksamkeit auf der Grundlage<br />
biologischer Risikofaktoren eine besondere Berücksichtigung.<br />
