Language SettingsTo display parental lock menu options, PIN numbershould be entered. Factory default PIN number is0000. After coding the correct PIN number, parentalsettings menu will be displayed:In the Settings menu, highlight the Language Settingsitem by pressing “ ” or “ ” buttons. Press OK andLanguage Settings submenu will be displayed onthe screen:Use “ ” or “ ” buttons to highlight the menu itemthat will be adjusted and then press “ ” or “ ” buttonto set.Notes:• System Language determines the on-screen menulanguage.• Audio Language is used for selecting the soundtrackof a channels.• Primary settings are the rst priority when multiplechoices are available on a broadcast. Secondarysettings are the alternatives when the rst optionsare not available.Parental ControlTo prohibit viewing of certain programmes, channelsand menus can be locked by using the parentalcontrol system.This function enables or disables the menu protectionsystem and allows the PIN code to be changed.Press “MENU” button and select the Settings by using“ ” or “ ” button. Press OK button to view Settingsmenu. Use “ ” or “ ” button to highlight Parentaland press OK to continue:Parental Settings Menu Operation (*)• Select an item by using “ ” or “ ” button.• Use “ ” or “ ” button to set an item.• Press OK button to view more options.(*) If you set Country option as UK in the rst timeinstallation, Maturity Lock and Child Lock optionswill not be visible. This setting is available only forEU countries.Menu Lock: Menu lock setting enables or disablesthe menu access. You can disable access to theinstallation menu or the whole menu system.Maturity Lock: When set, this option gets the maturityinformation from the broadcast and if this maturity levelis disabled, disables access to the broadcast.Child Lock: When Child Lock is set, the TV can onlybe controlled by the remote control. In this case thecontrol panel buttons will not work, except for theStandby/On button. When Child Lock is activatedyou are able to switch the TV into Standby mode withthe Standby/On button. To switch the TV on again,you need the remote control. Hence, if one of thosebuttons is pressed, Child Lock Is On will be displayedon the screen when the menu screen is not visible.Set PIN: De nes a new PIN number. Use numericbuttons to enter a new pin number. You will needto code your new PIN a second time for veri cationpurposes.IMPORTANT: The factory default PIN number is 0000,if you change the PIN number make sure you write itdown and keep it safe.English - 78 -
