full delivery rating.
On receipt of delivery, immediately check the pumps for completeness,
damage and compliance with the data on the delivery note. Defects and
damage are to be notified at once to the transport company in order for
any claim to be valid.
2.0 DESCRIPTIONS FOR SCREWSPNDEL – AND CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
2.1 AREA OF USE
2.1.1 SELF-PRIMING - CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
Pumps of the RS-series are used for all applications where self-priming
is called for or in which the medium to be handled is susceptible to intensive
gas evolution, for instance
� in navigation as bilge or ballast pump,
� in the building industry for building pit drainage and ground water
lowering
� Importantly: Consider max. tolerable particile size of pump
� for pumping fuel oil, gasoline, benzene, solvents, etc.
� for pumping pulp and cellulose, sewage, etc.
2.1.2 NORMAL PRIMING – CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
These pumps are used for all applications where self-priming is not desired
or not necessary because of the medium inflow.
