To change the compressed air cylinder:•Screw out the compressed air cylinderby turning it counter-clockwise eithermanually or with a key. Attention: Screwout the compressed air cylinder until youhear the air escape (at least four turns).Then screw in the compressed air cylinderagain. Thus a damage to the seals willbe avoided.To fill the compressed air cylinderBefore you fill the compressed air cylinder,please check all components which areused in this process such as refill bottle, refilladapter and compressed air cylinder fordefects (e.g. at the threads).32Warning:•Only use refill bottles with a maximumpressure of 200 bar (2,790 psi)•Only use compressed air free of oil andwater (DIN EN 12021).•Make sure that there is no oil or greaseon the connecting threads.•Only use the adapter(Order No. 711.3409), which is deliveredwith your rifle.•To refill the compressed air cylinder werecommend the use of diving bottles.Filling process:•Screw the adapter on the refill bottle.•Screw the compressed air cylinder ontothe adapter.•Tighten the hexagon screw of theadapter by hand to prevent air escape.•Open the valve of the bottle very slowlyuntil no more flow noise is audible.•Close the valve of the compressed airbottle after approx. 5 seconds (The compressedair cylinder will heat up slightly).•Empty the adapter by releasing thescrew.•Screw the screw into the adapteragain.•Remove the compressed air cylinder andscrew it on the rifle by hand.With a full cylinder (max. 200 bar/2790psi) approx. 330 shots (remaining pressure65 bar / 943 psi) can be fired. With aJunior compressed air cylinder 175 shotscan be fired. We recommend to neverempty the compressed air cylindercompletely. Compressed air bottles (OrderNo. 711.3510) are available in specialisedgun shops. The refilling of compressed aircylinders is also possible in specialised gunshops or in shops for diving equipment.Warning:Compressed air bottles with an allowedfilling pressure of 300 bar (4,185 psi) areoffered as well. These bottles have thesame thread as the bottles with a fillingpressure of 200 bar (2,790 psi). In caseyou use a bottle with a filling pressure of300 bar (4,185 psi) it is absolutelynecessary to use a pressure reducer whichis adapted to 200 bar /2,790 psi). Forreasons of safety it is not allowed to fill thecompressed air cylinder with more than themaximum pressure of 200 bar (2,790 psi).It is also not allowed to use such acompressed air cylinder or to store it.Please therefore strictly observe theinstructions for the filling of the compressedair cylinder and the correspondingtechnical rules of your country.
