If you are looking for something unusual then you should look on
Taunusstrasse. Surrounded by green, shop owners here offer an attractive
mixture of antiques, delicatessen products, accessories for

Wiesbaden‘s pedestrain zone and old city
Branches of major label shops, department store chains and small,
privately-owned shops are located in Wiesbaden’s pedestrian
district. Many original shops can be found in the numerous smaller
side streets and narrow lanes in the old city.
Bars, restaurants, cafés are located among the shops and boutiques
and welcome visitors for a relaxing break on their shopping tour.
The gastronomic diversity of Italian and international cuisines are
tempting alongside specialities from the Far East or from the local
region and of course there are many cosy corners where you can
enjoy a quiet glass of Rheingau wine.

Altstadt und Markt
Die historische Altstadt, ist zu einem kleinen Juwel für die besonderen
Dinge geworden. Verführerische Gastronomie mit reizvollen
Freiflächen prägt das Bild der Altstadt gemeinsam mit dem Angebot
der kleinen Manufakturen. Man findet bezaubernden Schmuck
& Accessoires, ausgefallene Mode, erlesene Düfte und Aromen und

Das Café Maldaner
Das Café Maldaner ist eine Institution. Hier genießen seit 1859
die Gäste eine einzigartige Gemütlichkeit und Atmosphäre. Das
„Maldaner“ bewahrt und pflegt die „gute alte Kaffeehaustradition“
die sich in den Kunstwerken der süßen Köstlichkeiten hinter der
imposanten Glastheke wiederspiegeln. Genießen Sie die besondere
Atmosphäre und Gemütlichkeit. Historisches Mobiliar, gemütliche

Frische und Vielfalt aus Wiesbaden und der Region
Mittwochs und samstags öffnet der Wiesbadener Wochenmarkt
auf dem Dern´schen Gelände seine Türen. Die Besucher finden hier
unter anderem Obst und Gemüse aus Wiesbaden und der Region.
Den Markt zeichnet seine große Vielfalt aus, die Produktplatte umfasst
unter anderem auch Käsespezialitäten, Geflügel und Fleisch,
Imkereiprodukte sowie Blumen und Pflanzen. Auch die Verkostung
vor Ort ist auf dem Wiesbadener Wochenmarkt möglich:
An verschiedenen Imbiss-Ständen locken kulinarische Spezialitäten.

The old city and the market
The historical old city has become a small oasis for very special
things. Tempting gastronomy and appealing open spaces characterise
the old city together with a range of products from small
manufacturers. Come here to find enchanting jewellery and accessories,
eccentric fashions, exquisite perfumes and aromas and the,
weekly market just around the corner. (Picture 4)
Café Maldaner
Café Maldaner is an institution in this spa town metropolis. Guests
have been enjoying the unique comfort and atmosphere here since
1859. ‘Maldaner’ preserves and maintains the ‘good old coffee
house tradition’ that is reflected in the works of art that are presented
behind the glass of the impressive cake counter. Enjoy your
visit with this special atmosphere and comfort. Historic furnishings
are all around and comfortable sofas and chairs invite you to sink

Source of seasonal fresh Food from Wiesbaden and the region
The weekly market takes place in Wiesbaden every Wednesday and
Saturday at ‘Dern’sches Gelände’ square. Visitors will find many products
including fruit and vegetables from Wiesbaden and the region.
The market is characterised by its wide range of products including
cheese specialities, poultry and meat, beekeeping products, flowers
and plants. It is also possible to sample the goods at Wiesbaden’s
weekly market: culinary specialities are on offer from various snack
