Following the overwhelmingly successful
development of the SDS-Plus 4-cutter up
to Ø 16 mm also larger sizes SDS-Plus
drills are further developed. This is based
on the basic technical design specifications
of the smaller sizes which are perfectly
for the intensive users. Thus, using the
same symmetric 4-course spiral and outstanding
carbide plate with high efficiency
cutting edges. In this series of drills the
carbide insert is no longer cross-shaped,
but the 4-cutter is formed by a head plate
with two hard metal side plates at an angle
of 90 °.
