Aluminium head for pre-cut line
Hitachi’s aluminium head is an easy-toload
fixed-line head, especially designed
for use with the Hitachi Serrated line. The
aluminium top section can be fitted with
2 Serrated lines in diameters from 3.0 to
4.5mm. All other types of line with round,
square, or any other shape can be used in
diameters from 1.6 to 5.0mm
The 104mm diameter head is reliable and
light weight, and is attached to the machine
using the trimmer’s blade bolt or nut,
and one adaptor from the package.
No tools required for line change, in less
than 5 seconds!
Hitachi Serrated line
A revolution in trimmer technology!
The extreme cutting force for cutting
weeds and heavy grass comes from its
serrated edges. Thanks to the sharp
teeth, a clean cut is provided and prevents
the grass from turning yellow or brown.
Specific mechanical characteristics enable
the teeth to withstand repeated shocks and
heavy use.
Air turbulence causes traditional lines to
flap about causing loud hiss and requires
higher engine power, thus extra noise and
air pollution. Finally the line wears faster
and causes premature weakening of the
eyelet. The Hitachi Serrated line remains
perfectly horizontal and stable. Reduced
air drag means better use of the motor
energy. Hence less noise and air pollution,
less hiss, less wear and tear on engine
parts and a cleaner cut. Less stress on the
line means increased reliability and reduced
downtime.
The Hitachi Serrated line will produce a
neat cut. When using square or round
lines, the effects of grass slashing are
clearly visible over the exposed areas of
the operator’s clothing. Using Serrated
line considerably reduces this effect, and
therefore gives the best result possible.

Important trimmer line
information
Any monofilament trimmer line can lose
moisture over time or become brittle,
especially if subjected to direct sunlight
and heat. To reduce brittleness, Hitachi
strongly recommends that the line be stored
in a humid atmosphere.
