Applications
For steel, cast steel, alloyed and nonalloyed
(up to 900 N/mm2 strength), grey,
tempered, nodular and die castings, sintered-powdered
iron, nickel silver, graphite,
short chipping aluminum alloys, brass and
bronze.
HSS-G
Top quality all-round metal drill bits for
usage on hand-held drilling machines as
well as drill stands in professional environments.
Properties
This high capacity, completely ground twist
drill bit made of high performance high
speed steel has increased true running
accuracy.
Applications
Suitable for alloyed and unalloyed steel up
to a tensile strength of 900N/mm2, cast
steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable
cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard
plastics.
HSS-G Co 5
Especially suitable for hard materials like
inox. The Hitachi Cobalt drill bits contain
5 % Cobalt. The HSS-Co drill bits are particularly
suitable for heavy users who require
an extra-long lifetime and have to work with
harder materials than usual.
Properties
Like HSS-G plus cobalt alloy. The cobalt
content provides higher heat hardness
strength.
Applications
Suitable for alloyed and unalloyed steel up
to a tensile strength of 1000N/mm2, inox
V2A/V4A, cast iron, cast steel, acid- and
heat treated steels.
