sind während des entwicklungsverlaufs irgendwelche
änderungswünsche aufgetreten? wenn ja, wie hat
odu diese gelöst?
wie in vermutlich jeder entwicklung ist es von der ersten
idee bis zu einem fertigen produkt manchmal ein
weiter weg. auch die entwicklung der Vakuum-
Kupplung war von änderungen und problemen begleitet,
die stets durch eine sehr konstruktive und
produktive zusammenarbeit mit allen beteiligten
personen aus Vertrieb, Konstruktion, Qualitätssicherung
und fertigung gelöst werden konnten.
wie schätzen sie die technologischen möglichkeiten,
das Know-how von odu ein, auch für weitere projekte?
odu verfügt aus unserer sicht über sehr viel Knowhow
und hat vor allem alle Kernprozesse im eigenen
haus. somit ist man nicht von externen zulieferern
und deren prozessen abhängig. dies ist in mehrerlei
hinsicht vorteilhaft, z.B. sind kalkulierbare lieferzeiten
und kurze regelschleifen bei abweichungen erzielbar.
wir sehen es auch als sehr positiv, dass odu
konsequent neue produkte und technologien entwickelt.
war die entscheidung für odu richtig und würden sie
odu an einem neuen projekt beteiligen?
die entscheidung, projekte mit odu durchzuführen,
war sicher richtig. mehrere weitere produkte wurden
bereits in der Vergangenheit gemeinsam realisiert
und ich bin mir sicher, dass auch weitere folgen werden.
wir sehen odu nicht nur als reinen lieferanten,
sondern auch als einen partner.
herr reindl, wir danken ihnen für ihre interessanten

at any stage of production. the geographical proximity
to micro-epsilon was a nice bonus. in addition, at
every stage of the development process we received
very good support from the people responsible.
did you make any requests for changes during this
development process? if so, how did odu deal with
them?
as in probably every development project, it is sometimes
a long journey from the first idea to a finished
product. in the process of developing the vacuum
coupling there were also modifications and problems.
however, these could always be solved through very
constructive and productive collaboration with everybody
involved from the sales, design, Quality assurance
and Production departments.
how would you rate odu’s technological know-how
and capabilities, including in relation to other projects?
in our view odu has a great deal of know-how and,
above all, the company has all of the core processes in
house on its own premises. they are therefore not reliant
on external suppliers and their processes. that’s
advantageous in many respects, e.g. predictable delivery
times and short control loops can be achieved in
the event of any deviations. we also regard it as very
positive that odu consistently continues to develop
new products and technologies.
was your decision to work with odu the right one
and would you work with odu again?
the decision to work on projects with odu was definitely
the right one. over the years since then we
have already produced many other products in collaboration
with odu and i’m sure that there will also
be more to come. we see odu not just as a pure supplier,
but also as a partner.
