Personal Protective Equipment must be
used along the installation of the Current
Transformers and at moments where the
installer exposes his self to hazardous
tensions.
Do not try to open the Neu Plus device,
touch on its internal parts or repair. In case
something is wrong, contact the Neu Plus
representatives.
If you understand that the Current
Transformers, Cables or any equipments
were damaged, do not use them in the
installation.
Install the Neu Plus where there is no
direct sunlight or at extremely high or low
temperatures (0-50ºC). The meter also
should not be exposed to water.

Phase 1: Preparation Of Equipments
1.0 – Preparation
Before we start, it is important to prepare all
the materials and equipment. This involves:
1. Cables measurement, cutting and stripping;
2. Terminals installations
3. Equipment connections.
1.1 – Voltage – Preparing the (11) White Cables
(a) 3x Cut: Neu Plus - Circuit Breaker [5]:
Connect the Insulated Ferrule [18a] at both
ends.
(b) 3x Cut: Circuit Breaker [5] - Voltage
Phases: Connect the Insulated Ferrule [18a]
on one end and the other end with Fork
Terminals [17].
(c)1x Cut: Neu Plus - GDN Line: Connect the
Insulated Ferrule [18a] on one end and the
Fork terminals [17] on the other end.
(d) Using the Cable Identifiers [13] enumerate
them as it is shown in the next image.
1.2 – Currents – Preparing the (12) Black Cables
(a) 6x Cut: Neu Plus - Short Circuit Terminal
[4]: Connect the Insulated Ferrule [18a] at
one end.
(b) 6x Cut: Circuit Terminal [3] - Voltage
Phase: Connect the Insulated Ferrule [18a] at
one end and connect the outputs S1 and S2 of
Current Transformers [3].
(c) 3x Cut: Short Circuit Terminal [4] - Earth:
Connect a Fork terminals [17] to the end of
each cable.
(d) Using the Cable Identifiers [13] enumerate
them as it is shown in the next image.
*Even numbers are positive sides, odd numbers
are negative*

2.0 – Installation of DIN Rail
Pick up the DIN Rail [6] and with the Self
Drilling Screws [14] fix it in an appropriate
space in the wall
Aftet that, clip the disjuntor in the DIN Rail.

2.1 – Connection of the outlet
and Neu Plus Basis
(A) Pick up the Duplex Wire [8] and the
Outlet [7].
Connect the duplex Wire in the Outlet.
(B) Plug the Neu Plus into its Base [1] and

2.2 – Connection of Tension Cables
For each fase and Cable [1,2,3] do the
following:
Connect one the other White Cable [11], in
the exit of the Breaker[7].
Connect one of the ends of the White Cable
[11], in the tension’s exit 1 of Neu Plus and in
the exit of the Breaker[7].

Phase 2: Preparation of the Installation
*Read the Short Circuit Borne Management
Considerations before accomplishing this step*
For Black Cables [12] numbered #4 to #9,
follow the instructions below:
Make sure the Short Circuit Terminal [4] is
closed before making the connection.
Join the two terminalless ends of the Black
Cables #4 [12] in an Insulated Terminal
[18b] and connect them to one of the
inputs of the Short Circuit Terminal [4]

Join the two terminalless ends of the Black
Cables #5 [12] with a Black Cable #0
[12] on an Insulated Terminal [18b] and
connect them to the other inputs of the
Short Circuit Terminal [4].
Connect the other end of the Black Cable
#0 [12] to a Fork Terminal [17] and connect
it to ground.
Repeat the process for Black Cables #6 to
#9 [12].

Short Circuit Borne Management
The installation of the Short Circuit Bornes must be done very carefully.
So certify to follow closely the instructions.
a) Closed Short Circuit Borne b) Opened Short Circuit Borne

To open: Drill the screw and
move the bar to the left side and
lock.
To close: Drill the screw and
move the bar to the left side
and lock.
*Notice that When the borne is closed, the current is allower to flow through
it, making it safe to procede with the Current Transformer Installation*.

2.4 – Connection of the cables to the CT
*Read the Current Transformers Management
Considerations before accomplishing this step*
For each Current Transformer [3], follow the
instructions below:
Open the S1 and S2 inputs of the CTs for
cable entry.

Connect the Black Cable #4 [12] to the S1
input of the CT.
Connect the Black Cable #5 [12] to the S2
output of the CT.
Repeat the process for the remaining CTs
and Cables.

The S1 side must be turned from positive to negative of the current
flow. S2 side must be the exit side of the current flow.

2.5 – Connection of Neu Plus Current Exits
Connect the Black Cables #4,6,8 [12] to
the Positive outputs of the Neu Plus.
Connect the Black Cables #5,7,9 [12] to
the Neu Plus Negative outputs.
Connect the Black Cables #0 [12] from the
terminal outputs to GDN Line.

Stick Neu Plus to the wall with Double
Sided Tape [14].
Fit the Short Circuit Terminals [4] on the
Rail [6].
At the end of Phase 2, your installation should
be in accordance with the figure on the next
page.

3.0 – Turn off the power!
Shut off the power of the main disjunctor.
Verify with you Multimeter [G] set as
tension mode if the power is really of.

Connect one of the outputs of the Double
Wire of the Outlet mounted in step (2.1) to
one of the phases and the other toGND Line.
Use a Fork Terminal [17] for connections.

and attentiously executed.
Turn on the power.
With double-sided tape [14], glue the
socket to a location close to the Neu Plus.
