Darstellung der Taufe Christi. Die Umrahmung der zentralen Darstellung ist in Teilen erhalten geblieben.<br />
Im unteren Teil sind noch die Ansätze der Sockelzone ersichtlich und links der Ansatz der<br />
Säule. Die Oberlichter sind ebenfalls entfernt. Die Komposition der Taufe ist eine Variante der Risse<br />
von 1591 (Thöne Kat. 200 Abb. 255) und von 1592 (Thöne Kat. 203 Abb. 258). Zusätzlich wird dieser<br />
Scheibenriss bereichert durch eine bildliche Darstellung Gottes und was hier ausserge-wöhnlich<br />
ist im Vergleich zu den anderen beiden bekannten Varianten wie auch generell den ande-ren Rissen<br />
Lindtmayers ist die Grösse der Figuren, die die zentrale Darstellung beinahe vollständig ausfüllen.<br />

Representation of the baptism of Christ. The framing of the central representation is presented in<br />
parts. In the lower part, the beginnings of the pedestal area can be found but on the left the beginning<br />
of the column and the spandrels are completely missing. The composition of this depiction is a variation<br />
of the drawing from 1591 (Thöne, Cat. 200, fig. 255) and the one from 1592 (Thöne, Cat. 203,<br />
fig. 258). Additionally, this drawing is enriched by a pictorial representation of God. In comparison<br />
to the other two known variations, and as well to other drawings by Lindtmayer, the large size of the<br />
figures, which almost completely fill the central representation, is very unusual.<br />
