2010–11 Faculty Recognition and Honors<br />
Each year President Morton Schapiro and Provost Daniel<br />
Linzer host a dinner honoring faculty members who<br />
have brought distinction to <strong>Northwestern</strong> in the prior<br />
year by their recognition from societies and agencies<br />
outside the <strong>University</strong>. The O�ce of Administration<br />
and Planning, in conjunction with the Faculty Honors<br />
Committee, compiles a comprehensive list of faculty<br />
awardees; recipients of the most prestigious awards are<br />
then selected by the committee <strong>for</strong> participation in the<br />
Faculty Recognition Dinner.<br />
