Profiles of Directors<br />

Dato’ Izham bin Mahmud, a Malaysian,<br />

aged 69, is the Executive Chairman of<br />

Deleum Berhad and was appointed as<br />

its director on 21 December 2005. He<br />

holds a Bachelor of Science Degree<br />

(Honours) in Economics from Queen’s<br />

University Belfast, UK and a Master of<br />

Arts (Economics Development) from<br />

Vanderbilt University, USA. He is one<br />

of the co-founders of Delcom Services<br />

Sdn. Bhd. (“DSSB”) via his family<br />

holding company, IM Holdings Sdn.<br />

Bhd.<br />

Datuk Vivekananthan a/l M. V. Nathan,<br />

a Malaysian, aged 68, is the Deputy<br />

Executive Chairman of Deleum Berhad<br />

and was appointed as its director on<br />

21 December 2005. He is one of the<br />

co-founders of DSSB.<br />

He joined ESSO Malaysia in 1962 in<br />

the Instrumentation and Electrical<br />

Engineering Services Department and<br />

undertook assignments at ESSO<br />

refineries in Malaysia and Thailand.<br />

He then worked for Mobil Refinery,<br />

Singapore and subsequently as Project<br />

Datuk Ishak bin Imam Abas, a<br />

Malaysian, aged 64, was appointed<br />

Independent Director of Deleum<br />

Berhad on 21 March 2007. He is a<br />

Fellow Member of Chartered Institute<br />

of Management Accountants (“CIMA”)<br />

and a member of Malaysian Institute of<br />

Accountants (“MIA”).<br />

Prior to joining PETRONAS in 1981,<br />

he worked, amongst others, as Finance<br />

Director of Pfizer (M) Sdn. Bhd., Bursar<br />

of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia,<br />

Finance Director of Western Digital<br />

(M) Sdn. Bhd. and as Accountant in<br />

Pernas International Holdings Berhad.<br />

Dato’ Izham joined the Federal<br />

Treasury in 1965 and attained the level<br />

of Principal Assistant Secretary before<br />

being seconded to the Malacca State<br />

Development Corporation as General<br />

Manager in 1972. He embarked on<br />

his banking career in 1974 when he<br />

joined Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad<br />

where he served as General Manager<br />

and later Managing Director in 1979<br />

until his retirement. During this period,<br />

he also served as a Director of various<br />

subsidiaries of the Maybank Group<br />

and Cagamas Berhad.<br />

Engineer with Avery Laurence (S) Pte.<br />

Ltd. on various projects in Brunei,<br />

Thailand and Indonesia and also<br />

attended training in Japan with<br />

Yokogawa Electric Works. He later<br />

joined Teledyne Inc. and was based in<br />

USA for training in management before<br />

being posted as its Marketing Director<br />

of the Far East Operations.<br />

In 1982, together with his founding<br />

partners he spearheaded DSSB’s<br />

venture into the oil and gas industry<br />

and was appointed as its Managing<br />

During his tenure at PETRONAS,<br />

he held various senior positions<br />

including Deputy GM Commercial of<br />

PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, Senior<br />

GM Finance of PETRONAS, Senior<br />

VP Finance of PETRONAS, CEO of<br />

KLCC (Holdings) Sdn. Bhd. and KLCC<br />

Property Holdings Berhad. He was<br />

also a member of the PETRONAS<br />

Board of Directors and Board Member<br />

of several of its subsidiaries. He retired<br />

from PETRONAS as Senior VP Finance<br />

in April 2006 but continued to be the<br />

CEO of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn. Bhd.<br />

and KLCC Property Holdings Berhad<br />

until his retirement in April 2007.<br />

Upon his retirement in 1996, he<br />

joined DSSB as its Chairman and was<br />

subsequently appointed Executive<br />

Chairman in 2000. He also served as a<br />

Director of RHB Capital Berhad, RHB<br />

Bank Berhad, Renong Berhad and<br />

Opus Berhad.<br />

Currently, Dato’ Izham sits on the<br />

Boards of AMMB Holdings Berhad and<br />

AmInvestment Bank Berhad.<br />

Director and later re-designated as<br />

President.<br />

He sits on the Boards of WGC 2012,<br />

Malaysia Deepwater Production<br />

Contractors Sdn. Bhd. and Malaysia<br />

Deepwater Floating Terminal (Kikeh)<br />

Ltd.<br />

Datuk Ishak is currently the nonexecutive<br />

chairman of Putrajaya<br />

Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Suria KLCC<br />

Sdn. Bhd. as well as non-executive<br />

director of Kuala Lumpur City Park<br />

Berhad and KLCC Property Holdings<br />

Berhad, all of which are subsidiaries of<br />

PETRONAS.<br />

He also sits on the Boards of Standard<br />

Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and<br />

Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad<br />

as their Independent Non-Executive<br />

Director.
