Overview of the Work Environment
Dialogs
A dialog is a floating window which allows you to enter information appropriate to the current
function or which displays a series of options or buttons appropriate to the current function.
For example, if you select the Open option from the File menu, the Open dialog appears:

To move the dialog to a convenient place on the screen:
1. Move the cursor into the title bar of the dialog.
2. Press and hold down the left mouse button.
3. Keep the left mouse button pressed and move the cursor until the dialog is in the
required position.
4. Release the left mouse button.
Buttons
Dialogs have buttons for applying the changes you made inside the dialog, canceling the
changes or opening the online help. This section explains the buttons which are often used. In
the other parts of the manuals you find no explanations for these buttons anymore.
The following buttons can be found often in dialogs:
