Ragam: Atana Talam : Adi<br />
In this piece the poet Annamacharya visualizes Godess Alarmelu Manga<br />
being carried on a Palanquine to her lord. He requests the Palanquine<br />
bearers to walk gently and not hasten as the flowers adorning her hair<br />
wither away. He says the sandal wood paste on her body is melting<br />
away as she is sweating profusely unable to withstand the tedious<br />
journey.<br />

Ragam : Ragamalika Talam : Talamalika<br />
This is an ancient number which is about 500 years old. It is even<br />
performed today in remote villages of Andhrapradesh, India in front of<br />
the sacrificial place in temples. It begins with the Mantra Sthavam in<br />
praise of Gayathri Devi which is followed by the Talasthavam where the<br />
name of the different Talams are mentioned and there is a<br />
Ragasthavam where the names of different Ragams are described. The<br />
grand finale is the drawing of the Simha Peetam by the dancer with her<br />
feet.<br />

Ragam: Nattai Talam: Adi<br />
Pushpanjali is an offering of flowers. The dancer seeks the blessings of<br />
the Gods, her Guru and the audience. This is followed by Ananda<br />
Nartana Ganapati, a composition of Oothukkadu Venkata Subbaiyer.<br />
The beautiful dance of the elephant headed god, Ganesha, is described<br />
in this piece. He is the joy of Shiva and other Gods and is praised by the<br />
Kings and Sages.<br />

This item praises the magnificent, powerful, aesthetic dance of Lord<br />
Nataraja, the Lord of Dance. This item has been choreographed by Dr.<br />
Vempati Chinna Satyam giving special emphasis to the Tandava aspect<br />

In this song the devotee requests Lord Rama to show kindness towards<br />
him. It’s a song which reminds us that the only path to salvation lies in<br />
complete surrender of one's self to the lotus feet of Lord Rama.<br />

This song describes all the ten Incarnations of Lord Vishnu which he had<br />

The entire Ramayana is described in this beautiful item. Starting with<br />
the birth of Rama, his wedding to Sita, his exile to the forest, the<br />

and the final killing of the demon Ravana is shown here.<br />

Nisha pays homage to The Mahatma, the father of India by dancing his<br />
favorite Bhajan in Gujarathi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. The<br />
song says that an ideal Vaishnava or a human being is one who is<br />
tolerant, truthful, compassionate and helpful, and as the one who does<br />
not have greed, conceit and lust.<br />

This item in praise of Lord Krishna shows various episodes portraying<br />
him as the naughty little boy who loved playing mischievous pranks; he<br />

merciful one who protects all of his devotees. This item is<br />
choreographed by Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam.<br />
