Closing & the Law Seminar
took place on July 30 at the
Hyatt in Sarasota.
Over 90 industry professionals
attended the seminar that
focused on hot topics relevant
to today’s industry and economy.
Topics included Thinking
Outside the Marketing Box,
Managing Closing Timelines,
Customs Regulations and the
State of the Yachting
Economy. Each presenter
brought experience and a
wealth of knowledge to their
topic and made it a worthwhile
and educational day
away from the office for the
attendees. All in all, it was a
beneficial day for the attendees
and an excellent way for
FYBA to interact with members
on the west coast of
Florida. Thank you to Danielle
Butler for organizing the topics
and speakers and moderating
the seminar.
The seminar was followed by
a brokers open house and
cocktail reception at Marina
Jack that featured 13 boats on
display. Marina Jack again
graciously offered free dockage
for participating boats!
