Medical Levy : R50.00 per rider
Ground Levy : R100.00 per pony
Stabling : R150.00 per stable (initial bedding provided) for duration of Show

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
AFRICAN HORSESICKNESS & EQUINE INFLUENZA
The onus is on competitors to ensure that they are in possession of the necessary vaccination
certificates.
SHOW RULES:
1. The Welsh Pony & Cob Society Show Rules will apply.
2. The Show Committee reserves the right to combine, divide or cancel classes.
3. While every effort will be made to avoid clashing of classes, competitors who make multiple entries
do so at their own discretion. Classes cannot be delayed to accommodate individual competitors.
4. The judge’s decision is final.
5. No entry fees will be refunded if any part of this show is cancelled because of bad weather
6. Hard hats must be worn whilst mounted. Shoes with a heel must be worn
7. No suede chaps or spurs are allowed. Gaiters are acceptable
8. No rider may cross enter between Lead Rein and any other class or within Cub/Fox/Working Hunter
classes.

WELSH PONY & COB CLASSES:
Conditions of entry:
� All ponies entered for the Welsh section of the show must be Birth Notified. If they are over 3 years
old they must be Registered/Recorded with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society.
� Entries must be made in the name of the registered owner or lessee. The ponies registered name
must be used on the entry form. Entries which do not fulfil these requirements will be rejected.
� Competitors should note that no refund will be made to competitors whose entry cannot be
accepted due to incorrect registration of ponies.
� Should entries be sufficient, the organisers will split classes by height.
� Organisers reserve the right to reject entries.
� All accepted entries will be eligible for positional prizes (1 st place in class etc.). Only riders/handlers
and ponies who are members of WPCS will be considered for Championship classes and Supreme
Champion In-Hand and Ridden. Membership applications can be found on the WPCS website :

GENERAL RULES FOR THE SHOW:
All entrants must abide by the general rules of the Pietermaritzburg Pony Show (see Schedule) and the
show grounds which will be posted on the notice board for the duration of the show. Absolutely NO
DOGS are allowed into the venue.
Please request one if you did not receive it with this schedule. The organisers of the Welsh Pony Show,
Dolcoed Equestrian Centre, its’ staff or helpers will not be liable for any damage and or loss for
whatever reason.
