ER Collets
ER collets have been added to the Fixture
Pro five-axis quick-change workholding
system to hold rods and other round
workpieces. The base of the ER collet
is designed to mount to Fixture Pro risers
and pallet system to allow stack up
that gets parts off the table and allows
machining on all sides. At each level, the
Fixture Pro system offers quick-change
capabilities for complete part-to-part
changeover in less than 60 sec. The ER
collets convert a five-axis CNC into a lathe
and give complete quick-change capabili-
ties to reduce setup times. ER collets can
be mounted to flower fixture which holds
three collets at an angle ideal for five-axis
machining. ER collets are available in ER
