“OUR COMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH BCI IS BASED ON GOOD

Since the foundation of the first company of the Von Appen Group, Ultramar, in 1952, its principal business being the provision of
port and shipping services, there has been a successful commercial relationship with Bci. The Bank has taken part in the evolution
and growth of each of its companies: “Bci has accompanied us from the start. It was our first bank and our relations have always
been very close” says Wolf Von Appen.
After 55 years in business, the Group has consolidated itself as one of the largest economic groups in the country and throughout
this time, it has maintained Bci as its principal bank, due to the mutual trust built up and the support that the Bank has provided for
its innovation processes.
Bci currently offers it services like the following, in order meet the group’s financial requirements: checking accounts, investments,
credit operations, electronic banking and factoring. And although Wolf Von Appen states that they are a conservative group in their
investments, he stresses that Bci has always accompanied them in the challenges faced: “We have always had a relationship of
mutual trust and our concerns have fallen on fruitful soil. We have helped each other so that both parties benefit”.
For the future, Von Appen says that the Group’s idea is to continue working with Bci: “The Bank has been providing unconditional
financial support and I expect that relations will be the same in the future”.
