After reviewing the achievements of the past year and a look ahead, the current president and his committee were unanimously reelected for another term. When the formalities were over, we toured the Hoegaarden Brewery and discovered the different stages of the brewing process—which included free beer tasting! This event celebrated a successful year (2001–2002) for the Belgian chapter. Our Business Forecast Dinner in Brussels in February 2002 is especially worth mentioning, as we had a record attendance and dean Edward A. Snyder honored the Belgian club with his presence that night!” On August 25, 2002, Belgian alumni gathered with friends and family for the annual summer Brats and Brew in the countryside in Hoegaarden (see photos on opposite page). “As you can see from the pictures,” writes Tas, “Belgian alumni are committed to ensuring the future stream of Belgian students in Mumbai Reception: More than 100 prospective students attended an admissions reception in Mumbai, India, in the fall.
