Jean Cobb suffered from various mini strokes<br />
throughout her life. When she moved to Clarissa<br />
in 2004 to be closer to her family, she was<br />
diagnosed at <strong>CentraCare</strong> <strong>Health</strong> <strong>System</strong> - Long<br />
Prairie with atrial fibrillation by Cardiologist<br />
Howard Zimring, MD, <strong>CentraCare</strong> Heart &<br />
Vascular Center.<br />
Jean, 66, arranged to make monthly payments<br />
for the care she received. The payments became<br />
difficult with Jean’s fixed income.<br />
“A billing office representative called me about<br />
a program I could apply for,” Jean said. “It’s a<br />
great program that helps patients who do not<br />
have the money to pay for health care needs<br />
My heart was relieved.”<br />

Jean was eligible for charity care and her health<br />
care bills were waived.<br />
