10:<strong>122</strong>-4.2 Staffing <strong>requirements</strong><br />

i. If the center <strong>of</strong>fers an early <strong>child</strong>hood program and a school-age <strong>child</strong><br />

<strong>care</strong> program, but has fewer than six <strong>child</strong>ren in one <strong>of</strong> those programs, the center shall only<br />

be required to meet the staffing <strong>requirements</strong> <strong>of</strong> the program serving six or more <strong>child</strong>ren.<br />

ii. If the center <strong>of</strong>fers an early <strong>child</strong>hood program and a school-age <strong>child</strong><br />

<strong>care</strong> program, and has fewer than six <strong>child</strong>ren in both programs, the center shall meet the<br />

staffing <strong>requirements</strong> in either (b) or (c) below.<br />

EC (b) For early <strong>child</strong>hood programs, the following shall apply:<br />

1. Based on the center’s licensed capacity, the center shall have one or more head<br />

teachers, group teachers, and/or consulting head teachers, as specified in the chart below:<br />

10:<strong>122</strong>-4.6(c), may be utilized <strong>for</strong> a required group teacher.<br />

i. As an exception to the staffing <strong>requirements</strong> in the chart above, <strong>centers</strong><br />

with a licensed capacity <strong>of</strong> from six to 30 <strong>child</strong>ren, 50 percent or more <strong>of</strong> whom have<br />

special needs as a result <strong>of</strong> a cognitive, socio-emotional or physical disability or disorder,<br />

shall have a head teacher.<br />

SA (c) For school-age <strong>child</strong> <strong>care</strong> programs, the following shall apply:<br />

1. Based on center size, the center shall have one or more program supervisors at<br />

each site as specified in the chart below:<br />
