TRAKIT (TRAjectography KIT)<br />
TRAKIT is a VP D.GPS trajectography system which has been<br />
designed to upgrade the FIS. Compared to conventional optical<br />
trackers, TRAKIT offers many advantages:<br />

Economy<br />
This unit has been developed to improve the dialogue<br />
between airport maintenance and fl ight inspectors<br />
and to reduce the fl ight inspection time.<br />
Dialogue<br />
The transmission of all acquired parameters and aircraft<br />
position status will enable the maintenance to<br />
monitor in real-time the effects of beacon adjustment<br />
and measurements performed by the FIS.<br />
CARNAC is a fully automatic light-weight and<br />
small-size multitask system for calibration of<br />
navaids. It features fi ve main functions: mission<br />
planning, fl ight inspection, reporting,<br />
training and system maintenance.<br />

CARNAC is a very modular FIS easily adaptable to any<br />
aircraft. It can be removed and installed within 30 minutes,<br />
which will reduce maintenance requirement to a minimum.<br />
The aircraft position is provided in real time and with an accuracy<br />
of about 10 centimeters. The trajectography system used<br />
is the Very Precise D.GPS. Operational since september<br />
96, this dual-band carrier phase technology offers (as<br />
opposed to traditional trackers) real-time precision, longrange<br />
coverage, easy use and quick start-up.It can be used<br />
in all weather conditions, day and night.<br />
