Inertial Navigation System

Designed for advanced military fighters,
helicopters and tactical transport aircraft,
SIGMA 95N provides high-grade navigation
performance, accuracy and flexibility. Modular,
it combines all the advantages of Sagem’s
hybrid inertial navigation system in a single
LRU.
Based on Sagem’s expertise in inertial sensors,
navigation, and electronics integration and
filtering, SIGMA 95N incorporates highly
accurate 32 cm digital Ring Laser Gyros. Highly
integrated, it provides an optimal hybridization
of inertial and satellite navigation, offering
enhanced accuracy and robustness. Reliable,
SIGMA 95N is easy to integrate and to maintain.
Open architecture
Using a powerful multimode Kalman filter,
SIGMA 95N optimizes the alignment and
navigation capabilities, from stationary to
moving conditions, either on land, on aircraft
carrier deck or in flight. Thanks to its versatile
interfaces and open architecture, SIGMA
95N can integrate all available sensors (GPS,
Glonass, air data system, etc.) in all types of
avionic configurations.
