performance in spite of optimisations by using LOD
models (faraway objects contain less polygons for

choose from when selecting a train protection system
is great. Do you want to drive using Sifa? Do
you add PZB which requires relatively high concentration?
And what about the weather which has
influence on the mood of the staff?
This has not been possible in the beginnings of
train simulation. Selecting all specialties signifies
the highest degree of difficulty. Pressing the SIFA
every 30 seconds, keeping an eye on Vmax, distant
signals, stop signals... a change of travel speed
below 90 km/h must be acknowledged by the PZB
90 or the train will brake automatically.
The security systems protect the train driver from
running past a stop signal as that is a mistake he
would not be doing twice in his career. PTP 2 has a
points system which considers all factors and provides
an evaluation at the end of each task.
Sadly, some particularities of PTP 2 routes like LZB
and PZB cannot be used on your own routes be-
cause they are protected by special scripts. Pro
