This qualification provides enabling competencies<br />

to design and validate/evaluate electrical<br />

equipment and systems and provide technical<br />

advice/sales. This program leads to direct<br />

employment for graduates as Electrical/Electronic<br />

Designers, Technicians, Industrial designers,<br />

Equipment repair and manufacturers, Engineering<br />

Associates in government and large engineering<br />

industry, and a host of other occupations.<br />

Delivery method<br />

A minimum of 20 hours per week face to face in<br />

the classroom.<br />

Assessment method<br />

May include test/exam, written task/assignment,<br />

practical task and RPL.<br />

Career opportunities<br />

This program will increase a graduate’s<br />

employability across a number of industries<br />

including: electricity (design, supply and<br />

distribution), rail, industrial engineering and<br />

renewable energy.<br />
