This program provides the skills and knowledge to<br />

work in the engineering industry as a Sheet Metal<br />

Fabricator.<br />

The program provides work-based training and a<br />

recognised qualification in the engineering metal<br />

fabrication trade. Students will develop a variety of<br />

skills required of qualified tradespeople.<br />

Delivery method<br />

A minimum of 20 hours per week face to face<br />

in the classroom, plus 400 hours of vocational<br />

placement.<br />

Assessment method<br />

May include test/exam, written task/assignment,<br />

practical task and RPL.<br />
