Vocational placement
Students studying a Certificate III all undertake
vocational placement as part of their training. This
is a great opportunity for students to experience a
real work environment with an employer, making
students highly employable on graduation.
Our Vocational Placement Officer’s strong links
with industry ensure students find a suitable
placement.
SkillsTech Australia has an arrangement with
Chandler Macleod Group, Australasia’s secondlargest
recruitment, HR consulting and workforce
management company, for the placement of
suitable, highly qualified trade and engineering
graduates with major clients in regional Australia
on successful completion of study. With
Queensland's current mining boom, the emerging
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry, and the
roll-out of broadband across Australia, there are
significant employment opportunities in these
fields for SkillsTech Australia graduates.
