NASA is Again Taking My Money
To me, those NASA people
are a small group of people,
some who want to be spacemen
or some such nonsense, who
have a hobby that has a free
debit card that goes right into
our pocket.
Now, lets be real about this.
We have a group of people who
have an interest in outer space.
Well good for them. They want
to know what is on Mars and
what Mars is made of... Well
again, good for them and I don’t
give a rat’s pitute about it myself.
Yet, this group of space
junkies, get to use my tax
money to support their hobby
of space exploration.
It is a no brainer about what
is on Mars and what it is made
of. Okay, I have done a lot of
research and are you ready? It
is made of “dirt and rocks” and
that is what you are going to
find on it. Okay, got it... there
is dirt up there with some rocks,
so quit sending spaceships up
there to try and figure what is
up there. I already told you...
dirt! Got it? Dirt!
NASA’s Phoenix Lander
landed on Mars on May 25.
NASA claims Phoenix is the
sixth successful landing on
Mars, out of twelve total international
attempts (the sixth successful
landing of seven American
attempts). However, the
That’s just the way it is!
history record shows only five
of 13 landing attempts by robotic
spaceships have succeeded,
and all were NASA’s
vessels.
Do you folks have any idea
what this costs us? Lets just
use this last mission since the
NASA Spacemen claim this one
was cheaper then the others.
How about the mission’s total
cost of $457 million - including
$37 million from Canada, which
built and operates the weather
station aboard the lander.
WOW, a weather station. So
what the hell does that mean?
Am I going to turn on the TV
and see some big boobed female
Martian with a tight skirt and
with the head of ET giving me
the stinking weather from
Mars? I think not and if she
did, who cares?
Folks, we have veterans and
victim of crimes on fixed incomes.
Some are homeless.
We have seniors who are really
having hard times and there
area a lot of people out there
who need help because of no
fault of their own. Our government
gives our money away
to people with welfare and
many are just lazy and looking
for a free ride. Some are illegal
aliens and looking for a free ride
as well and we give it to them.
Now if NASA wanted to give
a “free ride” to those lazy aliens
to Mars, well now we are talking.
Not only does our government
give away our money to
these people, but also to those
hobbyists who are with NASA.
If those people want to send
land rovers to Mars, why don’t
they pay for it with their money,
not mine? Have them raise the
money for these missions.
I don’t care what is on Mars.
What do these expensive mission
do for me. NOTHING,
outside of costing me more
taxes.
To be honest, I don’t have a
problem with the space shuttle.
They put up communication
equipment and weather satellites
and all that is very helpful here
on earth.
Spending a half a billion dollars
to send junk to Mars to me
is unreasonable when we have
people here on earth who could
use that money to help them get
back on their feet again.
These NASA groupies are
operating this thing like a video
game. Mars is about 171 million
miles away, and data transmissions
can take more than 15
minutes to reach Earth. Now
the reply would take another 15
minutes... with the round trip
taking a total of 30 minutes and
these radio signals travel at the
speed of light. .
So, when one of these
“brains” makes a wrong turn
and this thing makes a wrong
move, and it crashes or gets
messed up, do you think they
would tell us? Duh... I messed
up our toy, we need to send up
another.
I think our money could be
spent on some more important
things here on earth.
Letters to the Editor
Opinions Are The Writer’s
Thinks Executions of Murderers Is Hate
Ever since our Great Maker
of Human Beings presented us
with this great gift of life I have
first been quite perplexed with
the fact, too many Americans
also manifest that feelings of
hate to also destroy one another
by using Execution to supposedly
complete that cycle. Both
Europe and Asia for the most
part have eliminated the Death
Penalty and yet her in America
neither politicians from both
sides of the aisle dare challenge
those many statitistics that can
easily prove that execution here
does nothing to deter crime.
One should also note this country
has a higher illiteracy rate
than many others and the ironic
twist comes from the fact over
80% of the people are Christians
yet they are allowing the Execution
of another human being
actually goes against that
Commandment, "Thou shalt not
kill".
Senator Obama: in response
to your statement ..."We can't
drive our SUVs and eat as much
as we want and keep our homes
at 72 degrees at all times...and
then expect other countries to
say OK.'
Senator, Americans work
hard to buy SUVs, air conditioned
houses and shop in super
markets and eat in restaurants
with their families on occasion.
The truth is we do not
need the permission of the rest
Let's consider President
George W' Bush while Governor
of Texas he allowed the
largest amount of executions to
occur of any leader of any State
in this country and now draw
the parallel of his allowing continuance
of the killing of our
Americans soldiers trying to
occupy Iraq. There become a
paradox of misunderstanding
when it needs to be recognized
how this President declared himself
a, Born Again Christian and
yet he tenaciously clings to the
hate factor with a persistence
unstoppable until he vacates his
office.
The biggest culprit however
is the American people themselves
who could not access the
value of their candidates, shame
of you Americans, you, who
didn't know any better.
