tremendous.' The fou r provincial finalists<br />
were featured on RTE's Telethon Special.<br />

'Going Smoke-Free - the Popular<br />
Choice', is aimed at reducing the passive<br />
smoking and its effects on non-smokers<br />
by asking organisations and clubs to<br />
voluntari ly adopt a policy of declaring<br />
their regu lar meetings 'smoke free'.<br />
The emphas is w ill be on voluntary<br />
support. As a fi rst step, we are asking<br />

w hich can be displayed at future<br />
meetings, where the policy is adopted .<br />
An explanatory leaflet is in course of<br />
preparation, and I will forward a copy<br />
to you w hen it becomes avai lab le, for<br />
your information.<br />

directed on behalf of the Office for<br />
