My Old Singer I bought this treadle sewing machine at a local Antique Show. It sewed beautifully. Eventually I gave it up because of lack of space. I printed this piece on white fabric and the quilt parts on lavender. I cut out the lavender pieces and appliquéd them onto the white fabric. Then I hand quilted around the image. There is an outer binding of black fabric around the hanging. It doesn’t really show in this photo. 1984.
