Mexican Star I used drawing fluid and screen filler again to make a stencil that blocked out all of the star shapes. Then I made rubbings in the remaining areas. I like the way that the dark diagonal strips seem to be on top. The ink blends black to magenta. This is hand quilted. It once hung in the Albright- Knox Gallery in Buffalo, NY. It is now at home in Cody, WY
Both shiny and dull fabrics were used in this piece. Again, I made a screen filler stencil to help define the pattern. The ink blends from blue to magenta. It is one of my favorite pieces and a dear friend bought it from me. Morning Glory
