Front I have used this book rubbing technique in many of the pieces in this presentation. These all have an element of rubbings in them: The Idlewood Girls Pillow, Carrie Pillow, The Buxton House hanging and much more to follow. This another example of prints from book rubbings. You can see the entire book covers. I titled this “Book Purse”. It was in a national show of textile art. Approximately 11” x 14” Back
Writing Case Here is another book rubbing. This writing case had a notepaper inside as well as a place for pens and pencils, envelopes, stamps and an address book. It closes with a ribbon tie. I thought that Dickens was an appropriate subject for the cover.
