You can choose from the following roles within the Service Creation area: Service Definer Service Selection Booking Guidance Definer Commissioner Referring Clinician Referring Clinician Admin Referring Admin Service Provider Clinician Service Provider Clinician Admin Service Provider Admin Additional Requirements Manager BMS Admin BMS HCP Proxy Booking Manager You can make changes to service data and create new services within the Service Creation area.
Step 3 Tip Demonstration Environment User Guide: Page 13 of 49 If you wish to demonstrate or practice making, changing or cancelling appointments it is suggested that you always use the Bookings and Referrals area because the service data within this area cannot be changed. Please see pages 16-36 to understand what data is available within the Bookings and Referrals area. What if? If for some reason you cannot access the CBDE homepage please check that your PC meets the minimum technical requirements (see page 5). If it does and you still cannot access the page please contact the NHS Connecting for Health Service Desk, details at http://nww.connectingforhealth.nhs.uk/servicedesk/contact. Once you have chosen which area of the CBDE you wish to enter you will be presented with a list of users to choose from. Select the user you wish and click Proceed. When you have chosen a user you may or may not be asked if you want to display the non-secure items on the page – if you are asked (at any time in the CBDE) please just select yes. You will then be prompted to choose a role profile associated with the user you have chosen. Your choice of user and role profile will depend upon what tasks you wish to complete within the CBDE. Select the role profile and click OK.
