About the Bookings and Referrals area Demonstration Environment User Guide: Page 17 of 49 Depending upon the role you have chosen, the following tasks can be performed within the Bookings and Referrals area: Search for a patient Search for all services Search for services on the primary and/or secondary menus Search for services that can be booked into Book an appointment for a directly bookable, indirectly bookable or a Clinical Assessment service. Request Additional Requirements Create and send a referral letter Cancel and rebook an appointment Cancel an appointment and an appointment request Cancel an appointment request Update a referral letter Use worklists to manage patient referrals Update patient demographic information Request clinical advice and guidance Provide clinical advice and guidance Accept, reject or redirect referrals Verify a patient or clinical caller The Bookings and Referrals area has been pre-populated with data (detailed in the tables below) to enable you to perform the above tasks. It is recommended that you familiarise yourself with the data held within this area so as to make best use of the CBDE. NOTE: The ability to run reports and extracts is NOT AVAILABLE in this version of the demonstration environment.
