2 MS. WIERZBICKI: Some of these things<br />

3 involve costs and some of them don't. We have met with<br />

4 Dr. Sherman, I don't know if you want to address this,<br />

6 DR. MAXEY: I can. Dr. Sherman, we met<br />

7 with him and he was very much in support of this,<br />

8 including finding the money <strong>for</strong> it. It could come out of<br />

9 the PLA budget; it might not, but the issue, and I don't<br />

10 know, Bethany, if you know about this; he called me<br />

11 yesterday and wanted to revisit this whole plan, because<br />

12 the criticism is, or the concern is, that we are<br />

13 isolating those kids into a certain part of the building<br />

14 and that will have negative consequences. He wants us to<br />

15 revisit --<br />

16 I said wait a minute now, we talked about<br />

17 centering just math, English and social studies in that<br />

18 one area, but they still have to go out <strong>for</strong> their art<br />

19 class, their PE class, their CTE class, and science<br />

20 class. So really it's three classes are in there, not<br />

21 all of them. Doesn't that satisfy the need to have them<br />

22 embedded into or connected to the total school.<br />
