Track and Field
Alyssa Osman
I attended CSCA for preschool, middle school, and half of my high school
career. I chose to go back to CSCA and graduate with my class of 2007.
I am currently finishing my sophomore year at FAU. This summer I
enrolled with a study abroad program that will be traveling to Orvieto,
Italy. I will be taking 2 classes during my 6-week visit. When I return,
I will continue to earn my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
After that, my plan is to start in the Communication Sciences and Disorders
Graduate Program at either FAU or Nova to earn my master’s
in speech and Language Pathology. Speech Pathology is a field that I
have grown to love throughout my life. Since my senior year I have been
working at a local Speech office. I’m blessed to work with such amazing
people whom I learn so much from each day. I love everything about the
field that I have chosen to pursue and am anxious for all the wonderful
(and difficult) cases I will come across.
I attended CSCA from preschool to 12th grade and graduated in 2007.
I am currently in my sophomore year at Covenant College and I absolutely
love it! I am pursuing a degree in Secondary History Education
and plan on teaching history when I graduate in 2011. I have had the
best time at Covenant College and would not trade this experience and
education for anything! God has placed many amazing people in my life,
and it is so refreshing to be in such a wonderful Christian environment
where people are truly seeking to serve God on a day-to-day basis. I am
so thankful for all of the blessings God has placed in my life.
I attended CSCA from 3rd to 12th grade and graduated in 2007. I went
to FGCU in the fall of 2007 but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. I came
back and went to FAU in the fall of 2008 while I figured out what I really
wanted to do. I did a lot of thinking and realized UF had always
been the only school I ever wanted to go to but never thought I had the
grades to get in. My dad suggested I go to Santa Fe in Gainesville to
get my AA and then transfer. So in August 2008 I moved to Gainesville
and have been attending Santa Fe College. I LOVE it here!!!!! I only
regret I hadn’t come here sooner! Then on February 24th I got my acceptance
letter into UF and am starting classes there this summer! I
will be studying Public Relations and possibly building construction. I
plan on rushing and getting involved in student government and taking
my last years as an undergrad slow. 5 year plan, here I come. After
I get my bachelors I’m planning on taking a semester off and doing
something completely random before going back for grad school. I have
such a drive for education now that I never had in high school and am
absolutely loving everything college has to offer.
From kindergarten through 5th grade I was a student of CSCS. I went
to two different schools for 6th and 7th grade, after which I decided to
return to CSCA for high school. After graduating I went to Full Sail
University where I graduated with my Associates of Science in Recording
Arts. I met a group of nice kids there in a band who needed a bass
player, I started playing bass while going to CSCA and have always
enjoyed playing so I joined in and have been playing with them ever
since. We got signed by Statik Factory Records and just recorded our
first full-length album to be released in June of this year. I am currently
working at 37 studios in Michigan as a recording and mix engineer. I
plan to start touring and attempting to see as much of the world as possible
when the album is released. I plan to also return to Full Sail for
Music Business in the future.
