THE KINGDOM IS LIKE A MUSTARD PLANT
PART II
in our last article we noted that the parable ot tne
mustard plant teaches that the gospel o( Christ has a
seed lorm, which is an undeveloped form and a tree
form which is a developed mature form
We must now draw some implications Irom this truth
First the gospel of the apostles is the developed form of
the gospel given us in Jesus words and deeds It is the
same gospel If you want to hear Christ you must hear
this New Testament witness that He authorized The
New Testament is Jesus gospel
Second the New Testament is therefore the Word of
the King, via the aspostles It is his word of salvation it
IS his word as to how a man can be right with God Here,
in the pages of this testimony you have forgiveness of
Sins and eternal life spelled out through the infallible
authority of Christ
Finally, read the New Testament And when you find a
hoe in its pages then weed your own garden'
M i k f t M l
are proud to commit our efforts tri
help our sister states in ratifying this
vital amendment. Every American
stands to gain a great deal from the
ratification of ERA
"We feel we have a responsibility to
help achieve the ERA victory Since
anv well-run legislative campaign
needs funding we are commited to en:
suring that not only will we have the
woman power needed for a national
ERA victory, but we will have the*
cash necessary to carry out our cam-)
paign.
"The bulk of the money will be used
to operate ERA campaign offices in
the key states "
Ms Carter added that "if citizens
are interested in helping us achieve
this important goal they can make a.
contribution to the effort by sending,
their dollars to Ruth Volger. 42850
